Spectrum Store — Attraction in New York

This is the worst branch that exists. It’s the closest to my house but I rather take 3 buses in the opposite direction to a different branch. Employees have zero knowledge on how to help you. I went in to port a number because I was having trouble doing it on the phone because you need the phone connected to wifi while they disconnect it. The worker handed me a number I could’ve googled from my couch. Scorching hot day went there for her to feel too lazy to help me. I stood outside the store while on WiFi 30 mins on the phone with spectrum I asked the person who helped me if it was something a team member could have done from inside the store they said yes they did not know why they wouldn’t do it for me. Close the location at this point. Last year I also went in I told the guy I had to leave with a working line and he disconnected everything put me under a new contract which only benefitted him and I left without a phone for numerous days. They are only willing to help if it’s a new activation but not active clients with technical Issues. Do better!! Hire knowledgeable people who LIKE to provide...

Disaster! I went to the store to drop off a router. I got talked into an internet upgrade which, in order to get it, I had to take a tablet. I was told I just had to pay for the tablet ($8.33/mo)and the service was free. Well the store set it up totally wrong so now my spectrum mobile bill DOUBLED! I have called spectrum more than 4 times and no one can fix the mistake. It is beyond infuriating…. If the store input the promotion properly there would have been no problem. Now my bill is double and I am stuck with a tablet that is in a drawer and costs me $35/month (with service). I will NEVER go to the Howard Beach Spectrum...
