We had lunch here with a dear friend whom we consider a brother, he suggested this place because he’s been here many times before, and the treatment we received is as genuine as if dining in southern Italy, including the music. They (Giuseppe, Martin and Nick) are very hospitable and treat you like family, we even had a nice conversation with the owner. The style of cooking, the love, attentiveness, the suggestions and conversation from the waitstaff is superb. They get to know you to make suggestions of what you might like or try (very clever). The colorful custom plates and decor demonstrates their flair to be creative. Some finger foods were served: provolone, black and green olives, and mortadella. We ordered the antipasto Burrata w/ Prosciutto di Parma graced with crunchy arugula, a slice of beefsteak tomato and sautéed eggplant. They also had us try their version of calamari (from Long Island) called Calamari saltati. When it was time to order the entree, they brought out trays of prime cut meats and fish to choose from, I mean… wow! Vincent and Pete chose to share the Tomahawk Ribeye with fried onions and zucchini. I was looking for something lean, so they immediately brought out the fish platter… I decided on cod, and when they asked how I’d like it prepared, I said “have the chef surprise me.” (Cod livornese made with black olives, capers and onions in tomato sauce).
For dessert, we selected the tiramisu and shared it, it was prepared the authentic way, and the dark cocoa made it “eccezionale!”Bravi 👏🏻 The perfectly cut pineapple was very sweet and organic.
The hot towels after dinner and the complimentary limoncello that came in ice frosted champagne glasses was a nice touch :)
They have a private valet parking lot, and there is metered street parking in front of the establishment, also, around the corner is residential parking (no meters).
They sure know how to make your dining experience a...

The service and the attentiveness of the team members blew me away. They are very good.
I decided to take my girlfriend there after reading the reviews.
We had oysters for appetizer. The wait staff came to the table to show the special for the day, which I had never seen another restaurant do before. I'm a steak lover so when I saw the tomahawk steak I was sold already.
This is where I got very disappointed. I ordered medium but got a charred over cooked steak which felt like it didn't have any seasonings. They say its aged 45 days which question to be honest.
I would be a little more understanding if the steak is the only problem I had with the dish thinking maybe this place cooks steak differently but how in the world do you mess up the potatoes? I had to use the steak knife to cut the potatoes because it was that tough. Felt like it was cooked some time ago and reheated to serve on this dish.
Paid $120 for the 42oz tomahawk steak. Which was my biggest regret at this place.
I really wish I had stayed with my original choice of getting pasta but when they took out the special I just couldn't help my self and learned a valuable lesson. Never again will I order a steak from a place that is all about pasta and seafood.
At conclusion, the service was excellent but the food was a complete letdown specifically with the fact $120 just for a steak which is not properly seasoned and not cooked at the right temperature and top of that not being able to...
Read moreYesterday was my third time dining at Bruno and I can say of the many "fine dining" establishments in this area Bruno is hands down the best. The quality of the food and preparation is exceptional. All three times I have ordered "specials" because they sounded so good and I really must also try the regular menu items because they are plentiful and varied. It is pricey BUT you get what you pay for and although we are on a fixed income being retired this is the place I go when its time to enjoy something special. Its a lovely, well lit, very clean place with tables spaced well so you are not too close to other diners. The service is excellent. The two young men who host/manage the restaurant are very friendly and will make sure you get what you want and are happy with everything. The restrooms are private and very clean as well. Of everything I have eaten I would recommend the shrimp cocktail, caesar salad and baked clams very highly for appetizers. The pasta is extraordinary. The chef knows exactly how to make it where it is absolutely perfect. The dessert tray is outstanding. The chocolate cake, the deconstructed Napolean are my favorites. The bread and little tray of cheese, olives and mortadella are a very nice touch at the beginning. I used to enjoy fine dining in Manhattan but since retiring in 2019 and the pandemic I really have no desire to go back to Manhattan. Thanks to Bruno I can have Manhattan quality...
