I chose this school because of all the amazing reviews. When I signed up, the lady at the front desk was super nice, and I specifically requested to have the same instructor for all my lessons since different teaching styles confuse me. She assured me I would get the same instructor every time. However, for my first lesson, they changed the scheduled time and asked me to come in 30 minutes before the school even opened. As a full-time student with a fixed schedule, it was inconvenient, but I adjusted and agreed. On the day of the first lesson, the instructor I was promised didn’t show up. Instead, someone else came in and started rushing me when I asked about the instructor I had requested. I had chosen her based on a friend’s recommendation and was assured she would be the one teaching me. The instructor who showed up was extremely rude, repeatedly asking, “Do you wanna go or not?” and wouldn’t even let me finish a sentence. When I finally got a chance to speak, I told him I hadn’t been informed about any change and would prefer to reschedule. He got angry and left. I called the office, and the same lady who had assured me of the schedule and instructor suddenly changed her stance and shut down the conversation by saying they’d refund me. I had asked her respectfully to reschedule with the agreed instructor and was open to adjusting based on availability, but she got upset that I didn’t just go ahead with the new instructor. I made it very clear from day one that I only wanted that specific instructor, and no one told me at sign-up that she had availability issues. Later, they claimed she often has such problems. If that’s the case, why wasn’t I told earlier? It feels like they just want people to sign up and then expect them to go along with whatever changes are made later—and if you don’t, they just refund you and shut down communication. I waited three weeks for my first lesson to match the instructor’s availability, only to be dismissed with, “We’ll refund you.” It’s incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. A friend of mine had a similar experience left a bad review and was asked to delete it or face consequences. That’s unacceptable. It explains why there are no visible bad reviews, they’re pressured to be removed. I just want people, especially those with busy schedules, to know the reality so they don’t waste their...
Read moreI had high hopes with this business. I paid for a package for nearly $400 upfront. The day of the VIRTUAL 5 hour class, I was informed that I needed to be inside my home and I was not allowed to take any breaks. (I took the day off of work btw.) Little did I or three others knew this piece of information. One of the other people had a child who she needed attend to. I was planning to take the 5 hours at the library because I did not have internet access at home because I live in a homeless shelter and the shelter is noisy. I don't think it is any of these people business about my living circumstances. The woman who was facilitating the class was rude and not accommodating. They kept claiming the reason I need be in my home is because it's the DMV rules and we can't pay attention outside or anywhere else. This is a complete lie. I went through the DMV state policies and nothing states this. This was a policy they made up themselves and tried to use the DMV as an excuse. Also, anyone can focus in a library because it is mostly quietly. If this was the policy they should of:
1.) Stated this in home policy up front before the class (They NEVER did. Even, though they tried to claim that they did. They Didn't)
2.) put the policy in the email where they sent the zoom link.
3.) Stop lying about it being the DMV policy when it is not.
The manager had the audacity to claim that she wanted people who follow their rules. I am only giving my money to businesses who clearly communicates what those rules are ahead of time. I requested a full refunded and found Colewell Auto Driving School. They were accommodating, professional and way more affordable.
Go elsewhere. Don't waste your money or time at a place where they lie, don't clearly state things and don't accommodate you, the CUSTOMER. Colewell Auto Driving School is good too! I got my first lesson and learned so much! I also did the 5 hour with them too. I also got a 5 lesson package for $260! Webster only give 7 lessons for...
Read moreA Truly Supportive and Encouraging Experience at Webster Auto Driving School!
I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Webster Auto Driving School! From day one, the entire team made me feel welcome, supported, and empowered on my journey to becoming a confident driver.
Ms. Chiquita was an absolute gem throughout my learning process. Her patience, encouragement, and clear instruction helped me improve not only my driving skills but also my confidence behind the wheel, especially my parking. Even after I failed my road test the first time, she never let me feel discouraged. Instead, she helped me focus on what I could improve, constantly reminded me of how far I had come, and motivated me to keep going. Thanks to her, I went into my next test with the confidence and preparation I needed — and I passed!
Mr. Camacho was also incredibly supportive and instructive. His calm demeanor and thorough explanations helped me feel safe and prepared. He made even the most nerve-wracking parts of driving feel manageable, and I always left lessons feeling like I had truly learned something valuable.
I also want to give a special shout-out to Ms. Janet, the amazing receptionist. After I failed my test, her kind and insightful pep talks meant the world to me. She genuinely cared about my progress and always had the right words to lift me up and encourage me to try again. Her positivity and warmth made such a difference during a stressful time.
The entire team at Webster Auto Driving School goes above and beyond. They don’t just teach you how to drive — they help you believe in yourself. If you’re looking for a driving school where the instructors truly care and stick with you every step of the way, this is the place.
Thank you again, Ms. Chiquita, Mr. Camacho, and Ms. Janet. I couldn’t have done it...
