West Shore Plaza — Attraction in New York

This plaza has several gems. A Planet Fitness, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and a tremendous Dollar Tree store. It is one of the best stocked and orderly examples I have seen of the discount chain. Very well run. Also, the deli by the DMV offers some tasty fare. Additionally, there is a Chuck E. Cheese franchise here that looks popular enough, always seems to have customers having a good time gaming and eating, big glass windows line the whole front of the store, entry is restricted as is expected in the chain. Has a rep as a good venue for kids parties. During these Covid-19 times they are open for pick-up, I don't think there is inside dining or gaming at the moment. The Planet Fitness re-opened with safety protocols. DMV is by appointment only during Covid-19. Another store in the lot is Burlington Coat Factory, it attracts a crowd, usually of bargain hunters. Don't know off-hand what they are doing under Covid-19.

Update December 2023: the Dollar Tree was slammed with boxes in every aisle on my latest visit. The staff was very helpful in assisting me multiple times, they were clearly busy but aided me and did so with a warm disposition. Excellent staff here, knowledgeable and helpful.

Love going to DMV here on S.I. & visiting the Dollar tree store… they sell lots of house stuff for a $1.25 not bad! I bought some laundry detergent & softener cheap and very good on clothes. Plus lots of munchies and chocolate and coffee mugs, wine glasses i just went nuts purchasing stuff you see in other places for more money, Not here! Cheap and Good! And the DMV I went to register my van and must say they are SO nice, respectful, educated employees unlike Brooklyn dmv’s (in the Atlantic mall & Coney Island) very disrespectful, nasty & dirty.. i live in Brooklyn but I rather pay $20.00 extra & cross over to Staten Island DMV just because they are so much nicer, and definitely 100% more respectful & Helpful of filling out...

Home goods has a variety of household items with some foods and toys along with other items for the home, The prices are generally cheaper then most other specific stores and the store often has items on sale which makes some items really cheap, The stores are normally very clean and organized and with the large variety of items being offered it makes for a nice day...
