Yara African Fabric — Attraction in New York

Sadly this is not a good review. I purchased 2 yards of fabric for a flounce top. I am a size 2. I am 5 feet tall. This is more than enough fabric. The tailor measured me. I drew a stetch of what I wanted. this is a 1.5 yard job. He decided to take a yard of my fabric for himself and make a short top instead of a high low top. In fact I told him I am conservative, and he wanted to add an additional inche at the time of measurement. The tailor was acting like a straight crook. It is sad because he is good, and could easily have great repeat client from me.

I have not called the owner yet for a resolution. But I am upset.

Prior to visiting this store, I checked it out online and had difficulty navigating the site. I ventured to this establishment and was a little disappointed in their offerings of African fabric. I was shown fabric that visibly was damaged. Even with the option of a discount the damage was so severe that it would have been a useless purchase.
