No.1 Wok — Restaurant in New York

I usually get nice service here but I encountered a mean old hag the other day. I detected a rude attitude on the phone when I inquired about lunch specials and she said to check online. I don't eat this food often and she acted as if I was supposed to know what they had going on. So I went into the spot to make an order. I wanted to order 4 wings and she said almost $6. She had an attitude saying it too. I already slipped her my $5 not thinking it would be $5.75 and told her to give me my darn money back. This is not the young girl who is pleasant and usually at the front - it was an older female in her late 50's. Get her out of there if she doesn't want to deal with the public. I'm never rude to people so I don't expect it. Anyway I'm not going back unless I really crave something they have...

While the food is ok, the service is lacking big time... 5 times out of 5 here, the waitress are not taking theyr time to help You, nor listen to order. I work about a bloc naway, therefor I'm here a day or two, every week, to get lunch. But instead, when calling in half hour early, being told, food ready in 15 minutes, income 25 minutes later, to be sure, to have the food ready, i ussually wait another 10 minutes to receive food, wothout napkins/nonsauces etc. Owners and workers, understand this, time is money and money is time... people dont want to wait for theyr food, 25 minutes late, on last minutes of theyr lunch break. Oh well, there goes My weekly moneybfor You. Have fun and be rude to your customers, because i have abt 20 people to back...

Update: I realized I got sick because of a medicine I was taking. It was not this restaurant. I changed my reservation to 3 stars. I took off because the Thai was still pretty bad.

I have food poisoning from eating here. The fried chicken wings were old and yellow. I should have known not to eat it. I also go their Pad Thai, something was off about the sauce so I stopped eating it and just through it out. Could be old sauce since people probably don’t order the Thai often. I’m literally in between a vomiting session while writing this. Just warning people. Please avoid. If the chicken is yellow - it is NOT fresh. Do no eat it! And don’t even try...
