NORTH AVE. DRIVING SCHOOL — Attraction in Newark

So I went for my drivers exam today and passed but want to tell you my experience . So the day before I didn’t have a car to go do the test and I was referred by my mother which was also a student of North Ave Driving School and Passed first try, told me that I can buy there 2 hour pass for $120.00 and it comes with letting you use there car, the school will set you up in MVC So you can get straight to test, And The Teacher Advice is for you to pass the test 100% (Priceless) !!! I say that because he’s just there to let you use car that’s all and he don’t have to tell you a word but still guides you as if it was for him . So keep that in mind !! Let me tell you, the teacher I had name was Oscar his advice will make you so comfortable, and confident that you will pass, on top of any questions that you have, he will tell you without additude and not only tell you but actually walk you and point step by step on what you going to do to pass it and he sets the car up perfect. I got in car once set up with MVC instructor and only thing in my head was what Oscar told me, As I was sitting in car I heard his voice in my head the tricks he told me and also the few tips he pointed out , it took about 15-20 min and permit was stamped and was good to go on top Oscar offered me a ride home Very Nice Man ! My experience with North Ave Driving School was an overall positive one. The kind and accommodating ladies (especially María José) at the main office were so helpful when it came to helping me set up my schedule of driving lessons.

I had 6 lessons with 5 different instructors and they were professional and informative, covering important aspects of driving such as intersection handling, K-turns, parallel parking, and controlling speed. Specifically, Carlos and Joao were extremely patient and helped me elevate my driving skills to new heights. The School was a great resource when it was time to take my road test. They scheduled the test in proximity to my final lesson and provided transportation to the MVC.

After passing my road test on the first try in Rahway, I did take it upon myself to take a separate defensive driving course to really underscore all I had learned at North Ave. I passed my test August 21 and bought my first car on September 10th. My first personal test was driving 40 miles from the dealership back home. Fortunately, I felt immensely more comfortable behind the wheel after the training I had received from North Ave.

I have honestly nothing bad to say about north ave driving school ! they not only helped me pass my road test, but become a confident and secure driver. none of that was possible though if it wasn’t for my amazing instructor joao sequeira. a great instructor and the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. i was very nervous starting off, since it was my first time behind the wheel but joao made sure to encourage me every step of the way. i live right next to north ave driving school so it was the automatic choice BUT i very highly recommend looking into taking lessons there even if you don’t live near by. my review remains 5/5 stars because of my experience with the people at reception, the constant proper communication, customer service, a great and friendly instructor as well as the fact i learned so much. the only thing i will say though is that i recommend you do not get a lesson scheduled with one of the instructors named alex if you’re still a beginner or nervous like i was. he discouraged me and belittled me, as well as was very rude due to his lack of patience. when instructing a new driver it’s key to make them comfortable and help them when needed while being patient. despite that one experience the place is amazing and my review...
