Pet Supplies Plus Etters — Attraction in Newberry Township

Adding this review because they contested and removed the previous one which shows pretty poor business integrity.

Kira (my wife) came home last night with 4 barely 2 week old kittens, quite angry because she went to this store, over heard employees saying something about "but they're meowing so loudly", and then heard the manager state "we aren't allowed to do anything just leave them there". She asked what was going on and the manager replied with "nothing, nothing is going on", but the employee stated that someone had abandoned kittens out back. The manager kept trying to interrupt and prevent the employee from talking, stating "we're not allowed to call anyone about things like this". Kira asked "so what are you doing about this?" and the manager replied "well... nothing... what, are you going to take them?" and Kira, who happens to be heavily involved in animal rescue, states " YES I WILL". She grabbed the kittens, said some colorful words, was told "You're no longer welcome here, I'm going to tresspass you".

Kittens are now safe, they would have passed away if not for her stepping in. Terrible manager, terrible business social media management, please share this info where you can.

We normally used a groomer named Ginger who was fantastic, did a very good job and was always honest with us that we know, lately we couldn't get Ginger because we missed our appointment, so we went with another groomer named Carmen which I don't have a whole lot of good to say about her, in my opinion she lied to me and tried to cheat me, she tried to tell me my dog was matted really bad from wearing a harness, my dog doesn't wear a harness, I only put a harness on her to drop her off and to pick her up other than that she doesn't wear a harness. she said her ears were matted really bad, I brushed her ears out the night before myself, Now her tail is another story I did brush her tail but I did not do a good job as they would like, so I told her at that time not to worry a whole lot about the tail but it's my understanding they have to do the best they can that's fine but please don't lie to me and cheat me on something that's not true. in my opinion if you must have your dog groomed there I would highly suggest Ginger but no to Carmen, but stay away from Carmen but that's...

Every PSP location I've been to has had wonderful employees that are happy to greet you & your pet along with being happy to help you locate the food, treats, bed, leash, etc that you're looking for. They also offer grooming services at very competitive prices with caring groomers that try to make it a nice experience for your pet. This location is no different, I had 2 employees help me locate what I needed & provided me pros & cons on multiple different food & treat brands to help me select the correct one for my pet's needs. They stock all the big brands you'll find everywhere, but what separates them from everyone else are their employees & their large selection of different types of food, treats, etc. They've got something in stock for any pet needs (all natural, grain free, etc).
