Xing Xing Buffet — Restaurant in Newberry Township

We recently visited Xing Xing Buffet during their first week in business. The buffet was full of delicious foods. There were the traditional Chinese foods, roast beef, salmon, salads, sushi and desserts which included ice cream and ice cream bars. Best of all, the food did not look like it had been sitting on the buffet for hours; it all looked fresh and very little was completely empty.

The dinner buffet cost was a little more than expected. Drinks are over and above the buffet cost which added up and made our bill more than I expected.

The service was very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was nice.

We would return for dinner but would be prepared to pay more than the average...

Food was good overall. Average for a buffet in the area. What lost them stars is that we went for the “all you can eat crab legs Father’s Day special” and there were barely any crab legs out. There was more water than legs and when we asked if there would be more put out they responded with “in a few minutes”. We watched the door and didn’t see any brought out but when I went up they excitedly gestured at the mostly empty container with a few new single legs. There had to have only been 10 new legs in the bin and not a single cluster was put out the whole time we were there. So, for me, advertising “all you can eat” and then having a pitiful amount that’s never refilled is...

We've been waiting for this place to open as there aren't many buffets in York county. We were pleasantly surprised with everything here. The staff are all very nice and welcoming. There's a large variety of food and a sushi bar. All the food we had was good. The place was very clean. I accidentally spilled a little of the one dish I was getting, and as soon as I put the spoon down someone was there to wipe it up. We also saw several people sweeping, wiping down tables, walls, etc. everything was very clean. It was also priced very well, which makes it much more affordable than most other restaurants.This will be our go-to Chinese buffet...
