The Environmental Nature Center in New Port is an absolute five-star gem! My wife, daughter, and I had the most incredible time exploring this hidden treasure. Been here a few times with my daughters on field trips being one of the adult chaperones. It doesn’t feel like your in the city especially when you start walking through the trees. They brought out a toad a time we went and the kids had a blast. There is a building where you can cool off with A/C and bathrooms. This is a fabulous hidden gem for all ages! The trails are well preserved and feature native flora and fauna from ferns to worms and everything in between.
