I always get my daughter’s birthday cake at Susie’s. We love the Strawberry Shortcake and Berry Cakes when available during the summer season. Since they don’t have them in October, I thought of trying the pineapple coconut cake. I saw good reviews stating that it’s moist, not too sweet with fresh pineapple. One person said that she buys this cake every year on her birthday…. and so on. So I bought this cake for my mom’s 85th birthday, I was so excited and bragged about it to my guests…I was soooooo embarrassed! It was the total opposite of everything I read on the reviews! It’s so dense, dry, and soooo sweet like the cake you buy at the grocery store. Not worth $99 for a 9” cake. I demand a refund or a replacement at least. I threw it away! Don’t buy the coconut pineapple cake you...

I was on my way to the beach for my gender reveal when I had an unexpected problem with the cake I bought from another place. We were just a few hours away from the reveal, which even had a photographer waiting, and I was desperate because I couldn’t afford any delays.

I called SusieCakes hoping they could help me, even though I knew they normally require 24 hours’ notice for custom orders. The person who answered the phone was incredibly kind and helpful, and offered to make cupcakes instead. They managed to get them ready in just a few hours and everything turned out perfect! And sooooo delicious!!! 🧁

On business group decided after dinner, cake would be a great idea! We serched close locations..really not kniwing the area. And susies cakes came up, we assumed with the rating...we would be set. We were sadly disappointed.. i can only speak for my purchase.. cupcakes lemon, red velvet, coconut and vanilla all were dry. Wouldn't get any again. I also got a peice of the tropical cake, thanks to the pinapple it was moist..but the icing was funky...texture was off. $ 20 bucks down the drain.
