NOT SO GOOD ! My wife and I checked out this coffee shop about 12 months ago...soon after we moved to Irvine. We were looking for somewhere to get great coffees and a wholesome lunch during our Sunday bike rides. All we saw were a few croissants in a display case....the girl behind the counter explained they don't make sandwiches other than avocado toast. SO WE GAVE IT A MISS ! There were other cafes very nearby that provided decent coffees and fresh made wholesome lunch food. On Sunday we decided to at least to give this place a try. It had good online ratings and when we turned up around 1pm it looked reasonably busy. NO CROISSANTS ! The cashier said they sell out in the morning. OK ! My wife checked out the menu on a clipboard....avocado toast was her choice. The menu was completely breakfast slanted and we had enjoyed a substantial breakfast at home hours before. I don't do avocado toast but my wife was happy to order a basic version not on the menu...just avocado on toast. We also ordered 2 x 12 oz Lattes with 2% milk. I had checked out their syrups beside the espresso machine and could tell they make their own.....no thanks. I nabbed the last 2 seats inside....2 low slung stools facing the outdoor patio. My wife paid and was given table no 33. We had to collect our lattes but someone would bring out my wife's avocado toast. After a few short minutes my wife's name was called out and I walked straight over to the espresso counter to collect them....the latte art looked lovely ! After placing them on the low countertop in front of our seats we sugared them and tried them straight away. VERY SAD ! Both were barely luke warm and tasted very milky. The female cashier had reassured my wife there would be 2 espresso shots in each latte so they must be using a very light roast. My wife's avocado toast came out....just toast with avocado slapped on as requested by my wife who thought it was fine. TERRIBLE LATTES ! One always likes to loiter over a nice hot latte and drink it slowly. In this case if we waited 30 seconds more we would be drinking cold coffees. WE...

Read more$28 for a a piece of avo toast, a piece of soft scramble toast, one matcha latte, and one mocha. are you kidding me?
i get it, you're located in npb, so it's expected to be charged a premium for anything hipster, but $9 for a piece of avo toast and $7 for a piece of soft scramble toast i could've easily made at home? pathetic. absolutely no culinary experience needed for two pieces of toast with topping.
our cashier didn't mention we were responsible of picking up our drinks at the barista counter until our food server told us. isn't that what the number place card on your table is for? so that you would get your food AND drinks brought to your table?
needless to say, our mocha and matcha latte have gone cold by the time we picked it up.
the seating options are really for midgets. the community benches are so shallow and the dual-side bench is just awkward af. lol. the round tray tables are equally small... good luck trying to fit anything on there.
we couldn't find the right place to sit, the random tables in the corridor / hallway sandwiched between the salon and kit is random af. like, uh? are we outcasts? and on top of that vacuum going off on the 2nd floor totally killed my morning vibes. and the outdoor tables? uhhh, awkward af as well. there's NO music, we can hear every word of our neighbor's convo... as mind as well just invite ourselves over to their table.
adios! here's to not k.i.t. (keeping in touch)...
