Villas Fashion Island Apartment Homes — Attraction in Newport Beach

We have lived at Villa's Fashion Island for almost a year. We were meant to stay as temporary residents between moving homes. We just signed another year lease! It is literally like living at a 5 Star Resort. Besides the incredible amenities, the service is what really keeps us here. I suffer from severe health issues at 46 years old. I feel I need to share how compassionate this staff is.... one in particular, Sharin Kayali. A few months ago, in between back surgeries, I had severe stomach pain for 2 days. My husband was out of town and I was alone. It was so bad and I didn't know who to call. I called the front office and Sherin answered. She quickly ran to my apartment and we decided to call an ambulance. She arranged everything and comforted me while we waited. She stayed with me until I was safely gone on the way to the hospital. She locked up my apartment and got a hold of someone to care for our dog. She checked on me everyday I was in the hospital for 5 days and when I arrived home I had a gorgeous potted orchid and a beautiful card signed by the staff. She felt like a family member taking care of me in a very scary time. She still checks on me frequently and always helps me get packages or anything I need. She is very humble and very discreet, never a bother by asking too much. The perfect combination of caring but not invasively. We have lived in many places around the world and in the US. I can't express how amazing this place is. Again it is not only a beautiful place with incredible amenities but with staff that you would find at the finest hotels, who truly care. A few others to mention are Rodolfo at the guard gate, who always carries my groceries and packages so I don't hurt my back, Chuck who makes sure I always have access to one of the 5 pools (because of covid the pools need to be reserved) so I can do my Physical Therapy exercises, Victor who always prints documents and brings them to my door because I have a difficult time walking, Jennifer from the café who brings me food when I'm too weak to cook, Mike who takes care of all our various needs (you name it and he can help), and literally the whole staff of gardeners, housekeepers etc.... who make this place immaculately clean EVERY single day..... ALL with a smile:). I know I am forgetting people but I am grateful for each and every one here. So incredibly happy that we found this place and...

I could not be happier with the amazing service I received from Colton Meyer and Kelly Giles. They both made the leasing process easy, professional, and warm welcoming. I’ve never been so excited to move into an apartment home! I worked with Kelly who helped me lease sight unseen during covid-19 and she was on top of it! Every email and phone call was answered promptly and was so thorough covering every detail of my many questions. I’ve leased at many communities and no other leasing agent was as professional and warm as Kelly was which speaks volumes. After just a few correspondences I knew there was no other apartment complex I wanted to live at other than the Villas. Colton was able to give us a tour right before moving in and rolled out the red carpet. The level of service shown during our tour was impeccable. He helped us upgrade our apartment on short notice without any hassle. Thank you Colton for being so thorough, gracious, and professional with a personal touch during our tour. The property itself is GORGEOUS. 5 swimming pools, two grassy lawns to lounge in, a cafe, Starbucks, amenities galore, 24 hour gate gard... I could go on and on. The apartment is so spacious and bright! Beautiful finishes throughout that were tastefully chosen to last. I can see my family and I calling this home for a long time. Who wouldn’t want to live at a 5 star resort? Not to mention the Villas are in a prime location. Walking distance to fashion island and minutes...

I have complained about this various times, and now posting here in a desperate attempt at getting help. The villas used to be absolute paradise - peaceful, serene luxury living, as one would expect given the high cost these apartments come with.

Recently, however, it seems some new residence have moved in, and they have completely taken over all of the common areas, hosting play dates for children every night, and all day every day on the weekend. Beautiful lawn and pool areas that previously were quiet areas for reading and getting together with friends are now being turned into impromptu baseball and soccer fields, and there is screaming children everywhere. I cannot even work from my apartment anymore because of the noise. I have complained to Management at least three times and no one has ever done anything. The worst part is that the majority of the parents and children causing all of this noise don’t even live here - but Management just allows residents to host hordes of random people. Not only is this a huge nuisance in terms of the noise, but it’s actually also a security concern given lax controls over who comes onto the property.

Historical reviews are accurate because this place used to be magic, but over the last month or so it has turned into complete hell and nobody’s...
