Being a long time watch lover, I decided that it's about time I expand my horizons in the brands that I wear. I've been looking for an AD in the local Orange County Area that carries a nice assortment of all the best pieces that watchmakers have to offer. When I found out about Hyde Park I was happy to find out that they had pieces from the brands I've been eyeing!

My girlfriend and I are celebrating an anniversary and I decided that it would be wise to share with her my love of watches with a special piece that she could enjoy herself. When I inquired online about something for myself, I was surprised to have received a response so quickly from Mark, the manager of the store. He had invited me in and given me a phone call to introduce himself and the store. In these days of dealing with big box retailers, it's a sigh of relief to see that businesses still care enough to put their personal touch with every interaction. He had invited me into the store and I jumped at the opportunity considering I was in the market for a watch for my girlfriend.

When I had arrived at the store, I was surprised to find that Mark had been moving from customer to customer to individually speak to each customer and once again, not something you see often in this day and age. Mark had come over to introduce himself and showed me around the store and let me try on multiple pieces that I've only been able to see online. He even offered to bring over some waters! Additionally my girlfriend was able to try on some watches that we saw online, and was able to find something uniquely special that you don't see too often. Although Mark had to assist other clients, he had brought over Shiva who was equally helpful and very pleasant to work with. She was personable and really helped seal the deal in regards to the experience.

I would highly recommend Hyde Park, Mark and Shiva to anyone that is in the market for some beautiful time pieces! I was able to gift my girlfriend a beautiful Nomos Tetra that originally she didn't like when she saw it online but had a completely different reaction when trying it on in person!

I wanted to share my exceptional experience at Hyde Park Jewelers, Newport Beach. About 4 years ago while shopping with my family, I decided to go into Hyde Park Jewelers to see if they had any timepieces available for purchase. I was promptly greeted by Shiva, and asked if I had any questions about any of the Rolex models, and I had mentioned to her that I had spoken to her the previous year about a watch, and that at that time, there were no Rolex models available. She mentioned to me that she had a couple of Datejust models available, but the colors were not what I was looking for, but she let me try them on, and then mentioned to me that there was a Black dial in the store, but it had already been promised to another client, and I mentioned to her, if they do not come in to purchase to let me know and I would be right over to purchase. We were sitting by the pool, and my phone started to ring and to my surprise it was Shiva, and she explained that the black dial became available, and that if I wanted it that it was there and to come pick it up. It was my first Rolex so I was very excited.

Fast forward to day after 4th of July, while in Newport Beach, I decided to stop in at Hyde Park Jewelers, and was promptly greeted by a gentleman working there, and he asked if he could help with anything and I mentioned that I had previously worked with Shiva, a few years earlier and she came right over, and surprisingly remembered me from 4 years prior. She asked if I had any questions, and I told her that I was looking for my next timepiece. I told her what I was interested in and she said it could be a 2 to 9 months waiting period. I told her it was a big birthday year, and I was really hoping to get a new piece for my 45th birthday. 5 days later I got a call that my stunning 2 tone blue dial submariner was in.
