J & B Medical, Inc. — Attraction in Niceville

J&B Medical saved our vacation! My aunt is from KY, and is dependent on oxygen. Her portable machine malfunctioned on a Saturday and the company from which she purchased the machine was not available until Monday morning. That would have meant she was stuck in the condo for the rest of the weekend. We found J&B, they had Saturday hours, and Jimmy personally called me after I left a frantic message on the emergency technician line. And their answering machine explained that while they have Saturday hours, they have the machine pick up so those working the store can help customers. That was incredibly helpful to know. :). Jimmy called back within minutes and explained that they could rent my aunt a portable machine. He gave me the fax number and we had her prescription faxed over. When we arrived, Ken could not have been nicer. He knew what was wrong with her machine and while he couldn't fix it, he had one all ready for us since Jimmy had given him the heads-up we were coming. He also fixed our backup oxygen canisters that were also malfunctioning by replacing a washer. We were able to go out to dinner and enjoy two beautiful Destin Sunsets on the beach thanks to J & B medical! I wish everyone ran their business the way these people do. I am very impressed with how J & B took care of my unique diabetic situation. It felt like I was caught in the middle between the insulin pump company, the medical supply company (J & B), and insurance. After making futile attempts with all parties, I finally found someone at J & B who heard me, understood my health needs, and responded to me with compassion and efficiencies. Sadly, I only know her first name, Monika, but I want to make sure the J & B management know how much she did for me. She didn't treat me as just a customer, but rather, she treated me as a person with an acute medical condition who needed medical supplies.
