DAB Escape Rooms — Attraction in Norco

Update 9/16 We came back a second time to do the Hiker Cabin room and I was so disappointed. Usually you get a walkie talkie to communicate with your game master and for this game it’s hidden in the room and you have to find it. After about 20 minutes we could not find this walkie talkie. Finally someone came in and gave it to us cause they forgot to put it in the room. There was also a box that wasn’t locked. I have no idea if that was intentional or not. Our game master did not give us helpful clues at all. She told us to do something with the books when we didn’t even have all the books. I thought this was a lot more difficult than the other medium difficulty room we’ve done previously and the misdirection from our game master made it so much more confusing then it needed to be. If you do go I recommend having Silas as your game master. We had him previously and he was amazing. Also the motel room game was so much more fun. This time around I was so frustrated and none of us had a good time.

This place is so fun! Silas was our game master and he was so great and fun. We did the Motel escape room and it’s so immersive and fun. Puzzles weren’t too hard but we did have to ask for some hints. Cannot wait to come back to do...

This escape room needs some love and care to improve it. Almost all their puzzles were open ended and you could solve the same puzzle 2 or 3 different ways but only one was what would give you the correct answer. The clues to help with the puzzles were not clear at all and some of the props were worn down so you can't read it clearly. Some of the functionality of the puzzles straight up didn't work and didn't make sense on how to solve it. I know it might just sound like "oh she's just dumb and bad at escape rooms" but I've done over 100 escape rooms and I design rooms as well. The puzzle design jn the room was lacking and so was the set design sadly. Although our game master was sweet and she tried her best to get us through the room so she was great but it's hard to have fun in a room that is so open ended and confusing. Plus you used the same items in the same exact way to solve multiple puzzles as well which usually is a no no in escape rooms. Overall this escape room was lacking in many ways but there are ways to improve it and the jumanji concept was a good idea just not...

Our experience was tragic to say the least. We would like a full refund. Yesterday may have been one of the worst escape room experience’s any member of our team have ever had. Not only was the business understaffed and didn’t give clear directions as to how the room worked, 15 mins into the game something was triggered that rendered the game unusable, we had to pause and the staff made a group of 9 years olds sit in a hallway for 25min+ before realizing the game could not be reset. And then we were forced to leave, 100% unsatisfied. It was terrible to say the least, the boys were in tears and the parents were angry at wasted money on something that should have been simple and fun. The employee, extremely polite and undeserving of a bad review, was completely in over her head and unfortunately did nothing to remedy the situation.
