First the Dollar tree raises the prices from $1 to $1.25, thats 25 percent. Next quantities and volume in the products have been reduced by 33 percent. Example. Packages of 3 sponges and 3 disposable Tupperware containers have been reduced to 2 sponges and only 2 containers. That's another reduction of 33 percent. That's in many of the products we used to buy. The customers/consumers are paying double with less value to our Dollar. While the Dollar tree has doubled their prices and profits. The consumer has lost their savings from the Dollar tree. therefore its better for the consumer to no longer shop at the Dollar tree.
