First timer.

Right off the bat the restaurant was clean with a great atmosphere/ambiance. I'm not a crazy K-pop fan myself but immediately walking in I thought the music choice was not bad, great even.

Coming from a ramen lover, the tonkatsu black ramen was extremely delicious, so much so I cleaned the bowl. The chili oil and chili mix powder were great add-on additions for a spicy flavor, but man the broth alone and the noodles were spot on. The egg, chashu meat, vegetables, were all delicious and light. I would have ordered a second bowl if I could fit one. At the time I wanted a lychee sake, but they ran out and my server suggested the strawberry sake. That was great, that was good. I have to say, I need to come back to try more...

... but the highlight of the experience is the server: Katrina. I'm a solo diner if not with my partner, and would prefer a quick and quiet dining experience... however, Katrina helped with my order, recommended the drink, and surprisingly warmed her way into a short conversation that was delightful. I hope she is here when I return for my work trip to give the spot another shot.

Thank you for that fresh change of dining experience and would certainly...

I have to say that both times I have been there the food has tasted great. Two times I have gotten the bento box, one with salmon the other with teriyaki chicken. They didn’t disappoint. The food was flavorful. The salmon was a little dry for my taste but overall tasted good. Seating at this place is hit or miss on busy days and the tables are close to each other so leave your private matters at the door. The person next to you could literally be confused for your own party. Also the seats and the back rest aren’t all that comfortable. The only booth type of seating they have is along a side wall that extends from the entrance of the restaurant to the end by the bathrooms. The booth is more comfortable than the chairs but if you site there be ready to sit really close to other parties. I’m trying to be as non biased as I can, but seating is not the best. The food is great though. In the end, it’s a nice little spot, but not recommended for...

Nice place! The only downfall was the waitress, asian, heavy with glasses. I asked for a some extra napkins, she asked me if I needed more than the one I already had. It was so thin, I needed an extra one to wipe my nose. She comes by with my food and no napkins. I had to ask her again for the napkin, and she looked so bothered! She acted like it was coming out of her check. Geez! So stingy. My recommendation is bring your own napkins..

Update: They have my name in their system? And why would there be a record of this issue in their system? Such a strange response to my review. You guys are located near Lupe's and Kohls. Geez! Talk about gaslighting a customer. LOL. And I just posted this at 10:00pm, how did you review this with your entire team all within 30 minutes? You...

This is now my second time here and it was yummy! I came around 4pm so it was pretty quiet and I was the only customer. Regardless, the service was great just like before and the atmosphere is great. Very open space with a modern look and I enjoy that they don’t blast their music like at other sushi places. Now to the food: I’ve tasted several of their sashimi arrangements and they did not disappoint. Today I tried the Salmon Blue Crab, which is one of their signature sashimi and it was so delicious! The texture was smooth and the taste was refreshing and not too fishy (some places have raw dishes that feel like you are swallowing the ocean and that is not the case here). I will be back to try more sashimi! It’s so nice to have a local place where the sashimi is done right.

We miss the Hot Dog Shoppe but the replacement restaurant was a great surprise. They did a very nice job on the interior. I han the Tonkatsu ramen black at the suggestion if one of the reviewers and I was nit disappointed. The broth was delicious and egg was perfect, the meat and additions were awesome. Also got the seaweed salad which was delicious. My wife's got the tempura udon and a cucumber salad. The us in looked good but the tempura were brought on a cool little basket. Cucumber salad was also delicious. Overall we lived it and will be back for another visit.
