EXTREMELY RUDE. I am a scheduling specialist and have NEVER experienced anything close to the treatment that our member and I received from this office. We started with Aileen that refused to speak with the member with his interpreter on the line and said that the member "spoke English just fine" and processed to hang up on us when I conferenced the member in. We called back and Margarette kept rudely saying over and over what date does he want while I'm continuously telling her, his interpreter was on the line and it takes time for him to interpret and respond. She again continued to say the same thing so I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor Laura was just as rude and as the interpreter was speaking to the member, says "see this is why Aileen hung up, this is taking too long." I have never in history experienced a dr. office that answered the phone rude and continued to be rude and impatient for what reason? I was left shaking and deeply SAD that I had been on the line with the member for 30 minutes or so trying to help him just to have to leave him with no help. Even the interpreter stated that he felt the office was just making excuses not to help and...
Read moreIt’s been three years since my appointment but it’s still on the back of my head today as I have been so terrified sine this appointment I haven’t seen another GP since. I came in for blood in my stool and anxiety. I had a very long wait and when I finally did see the doctor (not calabrese the other one I can’t remember his name) he listened to my symptoms and then just tried offering me Xanax. No in-depth question just wanted to scoot me out the door. The most disturbing thing was that at one point I heard him outside of the door talking to the nurse saying I sounded “crazy”. If you have any type of mental disorder you know that this is a huge trigger. Since then I have been terrified of seeing another GP. My anxiety has worsened and I still have unexplained blood in my stool and GI issues. Let’s just say I would never recommend this...
Read moreI saw Dr. Calabrese while he was still practicing and saw June Mayer afterwards for years. Both were understanding with my physical and mental health issues and would help direct me towards the appropriate specialists. What I love regarding the office is that, if an emergency appointment is needed, one can almost always be arranged. My biggest (and probably one complaint) are the office hours. They are not listed when contacting the office when they are closed (at the time of this posting press the number to reach the answering service/leave a message option to hear their hours). My suggestion is to write down their office hours seeing as if you specifically see June or Dr. Saliba they have different hours and availability depending on which office you go to (North Arlington, Bloomfield, or Nutley). Hope my...
