Cafe Mauro — Restaurant in North Arlington

I was a early to pick up a friend in the area and as I drove by this corner unassuming yet gorgeous and clean little bakery, I decided to stop to get a latte and see what they offered for breakfast. Owner created me graciously and I ordered a ham egg and cheese sandwich on a Portuguese roll that was delicious. As I’m eating I noticed several people coming in to but their home made Pastel di Natal ( showed in my pictures) and I had to try it! It was so fresh and amazing that I ordered 10 to go! I wouldn't say "comfort food" at all. Yes small plates...very cute SMALL plates as to the menu was the size of 1/4 a sheet of paper with about 12 items on it.
