Riverwalk Park — Attraction in North Branch

Riverwalk Park is a very nice, simple, and well-maintained park. Lots of scenic trails along the river make for nice biking and walking "adventures". It feels like every visit is a new experience as the seasonal scenery changes a little bit each time. Although the parking lot is close to the highway it always seems peaceful and quiet. Nice area, pretty calm and right along the river. Perfect for a walk, good for dogs, too. It's a beautiful park with a big gazebo so you can have picnics and barbecues but the majority of this park is dirt trails/paths that wind back through the woods. Unfortunately, if you are handicapped or in any sort of wheelchair the farthest you're going be able to go is the gazebo as the trails are not at all handicapped-friendly.
