Pizza Pub — Restaurant in North Branch

The pizza is amazing! The pub special is my absolute favorite! It is the best tasting pizza I have ever had. Surprisingly though it is followed close second to the asparagus pizza. Sounds crazy but oh my my... 😍😍 if you like asparagus you HAVE to try it. It is so full of flavor! My boyfriend loves the pulled pork sandwich. He orders it 80% of the times we visit. He says Pizza Pub pulled pork sandwich is way better then Dickey's. I have to agree. Dickey's meat pile is smaller and the buns are so dry 😩. Sahara desert dry. I can't stand it. At pizza pub, the pulled pork is flavorful, nice and juicy and piled high with a good amount of BBQ sauce. The bun is the perfect balance of moist and sturdy enough hold all the meat you get! And their chicken alfredo... if I could drool on a review I would ♡. It has a slight kick to it combined with the creamy smooth cheesiness that keeps you coming back for more bite after bite. It is definitely not your normal bland Alfredo. And their bone-in wings are a really filling size and the sauce flavors are amazing. I had the sweet hot.. I didn't know that those 2 flavors would go well but I said what the heck.. let's try it and I was glad I did. The only thing I REALLY DID NOT LIKE was their fried pickles. They were small strips of pickles that were battered and deep fried. SUPER SUPER greasy. The battered strips stuck together. It came out in clumps and all you could taste was grease. Not much pickle flavor. Instead of skinny pickle strips that disintigrate and dissappear in the batter and frying oil... They should switch to whole fried pickle spears like the Full Moon bar has in Stark. Theirs are amazing! But overall the food is really good at the pub. I keep coming back! But please upgrade the fried pickles 😩 I will be willing to pay more! But the price you charge for the greasy mess of batter no pickles i got was a let down. Also.. one last thing... the STAFF is simply AMAZING!!!!! Great bartenders and waitstaff 👏👏👏👏 I love the pub!

I have never been talked down to, and belittled by a manager, sticking up for her emotionally distraught waitress before in my life. But it happened here on a Monday when they had three tables worth of people we came in looking to spend some time we were waiting for a sales meeting in town and had time to kill. We played a game of pool ordered appetizer of breadsticks was going good. We ordered nachos and a buffalo chicken sandwich the nachos came out, and my friend was not happy with them, so we proceeded to try to send them back. The waitress just left them on the table and came back with a cup of cold cheese for us to use on them so he tried to explain to her that he wanted melted shredded cheese on his nachos and she proceeded to tell him he needed to eat the nachos and that we were going to have to pay for the nachos That we didn’t eat because they were gross 🤮 My buffalo chicken sandwich was nothing to be happy about either. I ended up taking the chicken off the vine. There was no ranch with it like it was supposed to have, but there was so much buffalo sauce on it. My bun was soggy, and I couldn’t even hold onto the chicken on it like maybe the cook was having a bad day? is the cook mean to the waitress, is she scared to bring food back? I really don’t understand why this situation turned into such a big deal. I used to be a server so I was trying to relay what actually happened at the table to the manager she should want to know.. we were not being mean to this girl She wanted us to pay for food we didn’t eat. So I paid my tab without the nachos on it that we didn’t eat, and I left never to...

Moved back here a little over a year ago and the first couple experiences here were okay… if you are from here you know there aren’t many options in this town. It seemed like every other time was hit or miss at first. To now we don’t have any desire to dine in and if we are desperate we will order delivery knowing we need to be willing to wait 60-90 mins for delivery. I ordered a sandwich that is supposed to come with ranch or blue cheese… online there was no where to select the option so I’ve written my selection in the notes. This is not the first time it has happened so I decided to call to see if they could do something about it. I talked to Luke (who claimed to be a manager) but was extremely rude offered no apologies, I explained this wasn’t the first time it has happened and can I get a credit or something. To which he offered “free ranch” next time… but the sandwich comes with dressing. After calmly explaining how the ordering system doesn’t let you select an option he even noted the error and said it’s a new system. I said I’ve had this happen before so it’s not that new can you give me a credit for next time or can someone bring me a dressing that is supposed to come with the sandwich. After back and fourth, I was told his only capabilities as a manager are to give “free dressing” for next time (which I don’t believe to be true for a manager?!). I will officially never eat or order from here again with rude...
