China Taste — Restaurant in North Branch

China Taste is nothing short of incredible! First and foremost, the woman behind the counter who takes orders is an absolute anomaly—I mean that in the best possible way! Every time I call (which isn’t all that often), she immediately knows who I am just by my phone number. When I walk in, she already knows exactly which order is mine. I watch in pure awe as she seamlessly juggles phone orders, in-person customers, and what must be an unbelievable amount of memorized names, faces, and orders—I have never seen anything like it!

I ❤️❤️❤️ the Seafood Mei Fun, the cream cheese wontons, the fried chicken, general tso’s……oh my goodness, it’s ALL DELICIOUS!

Beyond the exceptional customer service, the food is always amazing, the prices are more than reasonable, and the speed at which they prepare everything is mind-blowing. This place is a well-oiled machine, delivering top-notch food with efficiency, cleanliness, and care.

I have eaten at almost every Chinese place in MN from Duluth to Mankato. You name it, I have probably been there. This is by far the most delicious Chinese food I have ever had. The orange chicken is a must have! The batter and chicken are nice and soft. The chicken is nice moist on the inside, the orange sauce is bold, sweet with a nice touch of acid. The Lo mein is the best around the noodles are perfect every time! The noodles are not too greasy or dry, they are not fried! (some places like to fry them and don't know the difference between lo mein and chow mein) They also use the correct noodles for lo mein. Some Chinese restaurant use super thin noodles for lo mein and some use overly thick Noodles, but this place does it right! I use this restaurant as my frame of reference for all Chinese food. Seriously must eat! Portions and pricing are the best state wide as well! Loyal...

Once upon a time I asked a friend of mine "who has the best Chinese food" and without skipping a beat, she mentioned this restaurant. Well it's about a 40 minute drive for me so I put it on the "someday" list, which happened to be today as I was driving through town around lunch time.

She was not wrong, this is probably the best Chinese I've ever had and well worth the stop. It was done very quickly, price was great, came out hot and fresh and delicious. I'm not even kidding when I say I don't think I've ever had food come out of a restaurant this hot and fresh in my life, it was too piping hot to even eat for a solid 10 minutes! And the portion size, I barely ate half of it!

I'll be absolutely certain to stop by anytime I'm around town, and will probably even find myself making the 40 minutes drive even if I'm not....
