My mom randomly found this place and asked me if I wanted to go with her. She used to play the accordion when she was a kid(mid 60’s). When she said “accordion museum”, my first thought was: “There’s an accordion museum?!” And my second thought was:”What could possibly be so interesting about this?” I decided to indulge my mom. We traveled 1 hr 40 mins to get here and it felt like forever. Just driving in the middle of nowhere. LOL. But, when we got there- I was impressed. Paul was so nice and so kind, taking the time to talk to us and find out what brought us there. He played us a song and even let my mom sit down and play a few accordions. (She almost took one home, but decided not to). There are accordions wall to wall, top to bottom-all different kinds of makes and models. I was actually surprised at how beautiful some of them are. Who would have thought that learning about accordions would be fun? Definitely recommend you check this place out( and plan a day out if you’re traveling a...
Read moreMy father has had the same accordion that he got in 1990 in Germany and became a very sentimental instrument in our family. It sat for a couple of years and required repair because of it. We took it to Paul to get it repaired for my father’s birthday present. Paul was able to diagnose the problem immediately and repair the accordion in a timely manner. My father’s accordion is incredibly rare considering its model and age, but Paul was able to repair it with care and it now plays like new. It has been a sincere blessing that Paul was able to fix this sentimental accordion for our family. The shop itself has an incredible display of accordions, a rare sight to see these days. I would recommend this shop...
Read moreWonderful place to visit if you have any connection to accordions whatsoever in your part or family’s past…heck, I’d go even further that it’s an amazing place period. Paul loves to share stories and walk you around the showroom - it’s a historical bonanza of accordions from the past 100 years and the sheer view of wall to wall squeezeboxes is quite the sight to behold. I went back again with my 11 yo son and he was amazed as well. And yes - there is an annex room with accordions for sale. It is free but there is a donation box if you...
