Buncombe County Sports Park — Attraction in North Carolina

This is a great soccer complex with two full size grass game fields along with many smaller sized grass game fields for younger youth soccer games. The best local Asheville club team, HFC plays games at this location. Fields are well marked and easy to find. There is a lot of parking but the parking lots can fill up quickly. Great place to walk n a great place to walk your dog and great place to just get away for a minute and just be by yourself or you can be with a bunch of people there’s so much space there’s so many soccer fields can’t even imagine how many played there over the years, how many people can play all at one time not to mention there’s disc golf courses as well and there’s corn hole and there’s like a little thing to play music and there’s a regular playground. It’s just got everything. It’s even got it’s very own dog park a space for little dogs in a space for Big dogs....

Scenic and spacious sports complex nestled amongst the trees and hills of Asheville. We played a soccer tournament here over the weekend and loved the green, lush grass on the fields. The parking was a bit tight but everything else was great. There’s a large shelter with picnic tables, a few playgrounds for the younger kids, and a walking trail around the complex…great for getting your steps in between games.
