Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Asheville

Ordered one of the pizza triple decker boxes for Christmas eve and I actually never received my order. Placed a pre paid pickup for 1:30. Website said store was open 1-8. We went at 1:30 and no one was at the store. Knocked, called and no answer the lights were off and other clients to were trying to get in as well. Tried to call about my order annnnd no answer because no one was there. Got the general customer service line/coporate was 'transferred' back to the start of the customer service prompt 'press 1 or 2'. Then was hung up on Mid sentence on the second call. The third customer service representative at least didn't hang up on me. Told him our order wasn't received and the store was closed, which he seemed pretty suprised by and read of the online store hours of them being open until 8, i let him know I read this as well but there was absolutely no one in the store. this was around 3:30 we even drove by the store again to check and it was still closed. He said he'd have the store give me a call, which seemed impossible since no one ever came to open the store. We missed a Christmas eve tradition and I also paid $43 with tip to be hung up on and miss my order. Very disappointed with the whole ordeal. I never received a call or my order and am out $43 on top of it all.

UPDATE: as of January 6th I have still not received a refund for a product I never got. I was told via email (never got a call) that all orders from the 24th were cancelled and that they had maintenance going on due to inclement weather. There was no one ever working but sure I will give the benefit of the doubt on that statement. Not only did I not receive a product, I was told my refund would be issued within 2 days. We are on day 11. The charge to pizza hut posted on 12.28 to my account. This is ridiculous, frustrating, and the worst service I have ever received with...

I called in a delivery and found out pizza hut don't have their drivers anymore.... They use door dash...?? "They suck", Doordash, This guy Anthony.... ?? Put the pizaz at the back door and left the food on the steps, ???? No knock!! I had my front door open, lights on. Don't understand why Anthony??? done my food like he did, ??? if it wasn't for my neighbor I wouldn't have known my food was on the back steps.. How disrespectful!!! Pizza Hut just lost a customer.. Anthony sure don't have any Common sense. AND IF I'D KNOWN THEY STARTED USING DOOR DASH I WOULDN'T HAVE ORDER FROM PIZZA HUT AND SURE WOULDN'T HAVE TIPPED!!!!!!!!😡🤬 Wellt, They use doordash to deliver their food now.. So if you use doordash, THEY SUCK!! They take forever to get you your food..... So, tonight, I decided to give pizza hut, one more try, Called store placed my order, actually talked to someone at the store on Smokey Park Hwy.... Asked if I was talking to someone at the store and if they still had their on drivers????? She said yes.. She confirmed the address. Told me about 20 mins... Well, it's been an hour, called pizza put,the girls that answered, Acted like they knew nothing, whated to be rude and hang, up on The CUSTOMER.. WELL, IF THIS IS THE JOB YOU WANT, FOR NOW.... YOU NEED TO BE TRAINED BY SOMEONE BETTER... PIZZA HUT SUCKS ANYMORE!!!!! 🙄 Forget Pizza Hut!! My family said call Marco's from the time I mand the call placed our order, Marco's had our food to out home in 25 mins from the time I hung up...

This location is extremely hit or miss. I’ve had pizzas that were absolutely perfect one night, and pizzas that barely qualified as pizza on another night.

The last one I got was a big dinner box where the corner pieces on both pizzas were about 50% bare, the remaining 50% had sauce and maybe 4-5 cheese shreds. What little cheese there was, looked like it was just slapped into the middle of the pizzas with no care at all. There’s no way someone saw that and thought “Yep, that’s how it’s supposed to be”. It was so bad I had to file a complaint, which I rarely do. The only other complaint I’ve made about a food company in the last 6 months or so was also for this same location and same problem of sloppy gross pizza. I wish they could get it together because when they are good, they are great. But if I can’t trust them to make my pizza even 70% right, I certainly can’t keep ordering from them or recommend them to others.

(You can see in the 1stpic where the corner slice is about half bare with extremely little cheese, and the slice next to the corner has sauce slipped all over and the cheese doesn’t even start until almost halfway down the slice.
