Interesting history here. Have a docent share the archeology of the site. Lots to be learned about this over 250 year old site. Check times when house is open to the public. Grounds are interesting, too, if you're a history buff. Much of what is known about the site is only available by speaking with a knowledgeable guide. Events here add tremendously to the experience. Literature about the history would be a welcome onsite addition. Check out the creek behind the house down the trails and the cemetery across the street.
