I am currently enrolled in the Medical Assisting (MA) program at ECPI University, and I can honestly say choosing this school was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From day one, I have felt supported, welcomed, and encouraged to succeed.
One of the biggest highlights of my experience has been Ms. Rodgers, the Medical Director for MA students. She is truly amazing. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, but she makes every student feel seen, heard, and valued. She goes above and beyond—whether it’s staying after class to help, offering extra guidance, or checking in to make sure we’re doing okay both academically and personally. Her passion for student success is obvious, and her welcoming personality makes the program feel like a family.
I also want to recognize Mr. Neil, who has been nothing but open, supportive, and understanding. If there’s ever a challenge or problem, he listens and works with students to find real solutions. He genuinely cares, and that means a lot.
What stands out the most about ECPI University is how accepting and student-focused it is. The staff doesn’t just talk about helping students succeed—they actually do it. They are always fixing problems, offering support, and going out of their way to make sure we have the tools we need to reach our goals. You don’t feel like just another number here—you feel like they truly want to see you succeed.
If you’re looking for a school that is welcoming, supportive, and committed to your success, ECPI University is the place to be. I am proud to be part of the MA program and excited about my future thanks to the amazing...
Read moreThe education and overall experience at this school is good. As a warning to prospective engineering students, this school is not ABET accredited which could potentially greatly limit your career options depending on the field you go into. This information is not advertised to potential students. The attention given by most of the faculty is excellent especially the directors. My review consists of 3 stars due to the financial aid department. Following the completion of my degree nearly $350 of mysterious charges were added to my account. Part of this was due to an IPad I wished to purchase but was never sent the proper documentation so I was automatically charged a full amount. I have attempted to make contact over the course of 3 months and have managed to speak with a person two times. During both of these conversations the person was not able to provide an explanation for the charges. The department has never returned a phone call or responded to a voice-mail. Luckily for me the school shipped my diploma and provided a digital transcript even though I refused to pay this amount. I definitely have gotten the impression that once their money is made and you're done, they don't care about you anymore. I will be attaining further...
Read moreThe classes are small and the teachers care about their students passing however their financial aid follows you to class and harass the students about making monthly payments prior to students trying to focus and learn. If you get in a financial bind and can not come up with a lot of money (financial aid) will cut you out of their program until you pay them what they want. They are not understanding nor try to work with everyone only just who they feel the need to. You can come up with suggestions that they have offered to other students and they will tell you that option is not available to you. They are out for money and don not care about their students in the business office aspect of it. It does not matter if you reach out to the president of the college at that location ( North Charleston) they do not care. I was with them for the first set of lpn night classes and thought they were a great college until I stared to see their true colors. I would not recommend this college to NOBODY. I wish I could give this...
