Absolutely HORRIBLE service! My husband and I ordered 3 bacon and cheese whoppers, two with no mayo. The cashier seemed confused about what we wanted, and we had to tell him 3 times before he seemed to get it. He asked if we wanted a combo and we said no. The guy preparing our sandwiches kept going back and forth with the cashier about what we ordered. We had to vocalize several times what it was we wanted. He even asked us if we care about the bacon, to which I told him 'yes, we paid for it!' Then we were handed our bag with 3 burgers, fries, and given a drink cup. While we were dealing with our order, one of the 2 employees hanging out in the seating area made a comment about the white folks trying to slip on the wet floor so we could file a law suit!!! Even though the sign on the door says the lobby is open till 10pm, the doors were locked behind us just before 9:30 and we were walking out, even with 2 cars pulling into the parking lot. When we got home we checked the receipt and it turns out we were rung up for 1 Wopper/B/C No Mayo, 1 Whopper/B/C and one Whopper Combo No Mayo. We received 1 Whopper/B/C, and 2 Whoppers/C. When we walked in at 9:15pm, the floors had been freshly mopped. I tried to do the satisfaction survey, but there was no survey code on the receipt. My husband went back today to try and straighten this out. There was no manager on duty, only a freshly promoted shift lead who didn't even know how to work the register. He refused to give information for us to contact the owner of the franchise. He did give my husband 3 bacon and cheese whoppers. My husband thought finally everything was okay, so he ate his which was fine. When my daughter and I got home to eat ours, they BOTH had mayo. That was fine for her, but I have a very negative reaction to mayo. I am now trying to track down information on who to contact about this. I will NOT be back to this location!! Can't figure out how to show my name, but I promise this is exactly what happened to us...
Read moreI worked at Burger King as a teenager back in the late 80s in California and minimum wage was horrible but we had work ethic and never stood around. This doesn't seem to be the case in South Carolina where you wait in the drive through for ever, employees standing around and have ear buds in their ears for music or phone calls. Customer Service non existent when I place a order tried using the BK app but informed they didn't know how to use that code and when tried to modified the order just for the Whopper informed the Manager wasn't around to void with the key so had to pay the full amount. I said then just write on the receipt your initial and cross out the fries and drinks and said no she would have to pay it and didn't have authority and had to wait for Manager who was at another Burger King picking up supplies. I wasted about 30 minutes in drive through and just drove off and place an order for Wendy's on their app and picked it up instantly with minimal wait. If this is how Burger king in South Carolina treats customers I can see why all the locations in Charleston have shut down as well as the others in Santee. So for my burger fix will be Wendy's or Chili's Tuesday $6.99 burger special for me. Used to really like the Whopper but guessing will cut that out of my diet...
Read moreNo stars what so ever. On June 23, 2019. I went to this location and bought a Double Whopper w/cheese meal with the onion rings and a drink. I was given onion rings that where well past the time temp. They where hard and discolored and cold. I returned to the store and asked the young lady at the front who was sitting on a ledge with headphones on for a manager. I showed the manager the onion rings and she apologized and had them drop some more. As I was waiting for those to come out I had clear view of the sandwich board where a team member was making another guests whopper with no gloves on and freely grabbing the necessary ingredients for the build. I then went to find the manager again and informed her of this she went to the back said something and never came back out. Not surprisingly tho the young man in the back on the sandwich board never did put gloves on. Top it all off with the fact that they never ever have the proper drinks in the soda machine. This experience was the worst by far and not one time have I been in this establishment and everything was up to BK standards. Opposed to the convenience of the location there is no reason to ever go back there and given they don't use the necessary gloves for sanitation, I...
