My first visit here... I ordered online, as the management has recommended here. The inside of the restaurant is clearly a rip-off of Wingstop (only old and filthy) , with corrugated steel on the walls along with pictures of airplanes. The young girl who handled my order was completely clueless and rude. As she handed me my bag, she dropped a cup of ranch dressing on the floor, picked it up and put it BACK INTO THE BAG. I asked her to replace it, so she turns around to the empty table behind her, turns back around and puts the same cup back into the bag, not only giving me food which had been in the floor but insulting my intelligence in the process. So, why bother telling her what an ignorant, useless POS she is when I'm sure she already knows..? Much better to let Google tell the world.
The Food... On the way home, the smell of fish completely masked the smell of everything else... Small, overcooked wings... lots of sauce that helped cover the flavor of old cooking oil. The "philly cheesesteak" had so little meat or cheese in it, I originally thought they had given me an empty roll when I first opened the box. The fish batter was entirely flavorless but was plentiful, helping to hide just how small the fish pieces are. I've eaten a lot of fish in my time - this smell of this stuff was just overpowering... I took a couple of bites just to say I'd tried it. the rest went into the garbage and the garbage had to go out before I could even finish my meal. The fries....well, they're crinkle-cut french fries. Even these people couldn't screw them up. Other than the taste of old oil, they were.... fries.
I wasted $40 on this place... but they clearly need it worse than I do.
I love the management's reply to the one comment above. "You have an opportunity to refuse the food before you pay" So, if you don't like it don't buy it? Great business model. Do yourself a favor and don't reply to my review. I...
Read moreI ordered wings and chicken philly under the impression it was the same as Nicks. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU THINK IT IS THE SAME AS NICKS, because it is not. The wings were tiny and overcooked you could not eat them, any chicken on there is too overcooked and hard, at lunch time!!? The chicken philly was sad, nothing but bread 2 pieces of old lettuce cubes and what looks like an old sliver of tomato. They definitely do not use the seasoned chicken Nicks uses, if they used any chicken at all. I had to search for chicken on the sub and looks like maybe a chicken salad or idk its soggy and only in one little spot with so much bread I can't tell, definitely not a chicken philly. Very bad experience. No celery with wings, no pickle with sub. I will not make this mistake again. Nicks is on Rivers and freshly...
Read moreIf I could put zero stars, I definitely would’ve! I had my mom go there for me today because I liked their hot lemon pepper wings(even though the wings are extremely tiny), as I’m on the phone with my mom the guy at the register proceeded to get an attitude just for my mom asking for hot lemon pepper wings, he claimed that they can’t make that and that they would get in trouble for making it (from who? We may never know). His attitude towards my mother was definitely un-called for, I don’t recommend anyone coming here unless you like tiny wings and terrible customer service. I used to love coming when the lady was there but I definitely won’t spend a penny...
