First of all, 1 star is 1 star too many! We purchased two custom made Bestway power recliners for over $1,200 each and the purchase was based on the guarantee from our sales rep that the cushions were high quality and would not sag....she lied!!! After waiting a year to get these items, they arrived in 2022. The console cushions and backing collapsed less than 1 year after receipt in 2023, and we are not large individuals. Fish Furniture corrected the issue at no cost, however, the quality of the material used was equal to craft store material and they collapsed again 3 monthe later. Due to a family illness for all of 2023, I could not address this issue until 2024; we used bed pillows as cushions for support in 2023. In 2024 a rep came out to evaluate the cushions and said they weren't that bad, but I question if he'd have a different opinion if it were his purchase. He said we could repeat the repair process again but the material would be the same and under warranty but labor would be $150. So rather than pay $150 for low quality repairs every 3 months, I will take a loss and sell this console as I did the other loveseat purchased at the same time. We waited 30 years because this business is expense, but we thought we'd step out and do this as a retirement gift and because of their reputation and boasting of high quality products, an expensive mistake on our part. This has been a nightmare. And my opinion of the sales rep is she operated with a true lack of integrity by promising all the things important to us to secure the sale. Because of this experience, I will never deal with this business again. It's my opinion their reputation is truly over rated! I will also file a complaint with the Attorney General's Consumer Affairs

4/5/24 I feel it's important to comment on the response from the owner of Fish Furniture regarding my review. He is the one that is not telling the whole story. They did not go above and beyond, it is in the contract that if the cushions sagged within the first year, repairs would be covered at the expense of Fish Furniture. So he's no hero. And to suggest that a person can buy a recliner but should not sit in it for very long watching TV because the cushions will soften is outrageous. These didn't soften, they completely sagged. The other comment he made during our phone conversation that I did not list in my review was the yellowing of the fabric within the first year....said it was normal. I particularly take offense to being called a liar by telling me he didn't believe that his sales person guaranteed us anything about the cushions.

He said I waited another year and a half for a second repair, is simply not true. It was a year after the failed repair in March of 2023; my husband was critically ill from March 2023 until his recent passing. You should be ashamed to call yourself a business man who appreciates his customers.

So if you want to buy furniture you can't sit on or let the sun hit it, and be called a liar when you realize you've been cheated ....Fish Furniture is the place for you! I can tell by your false comments and eagerness to make yourself appear to have helped us resolve this out of the goodness of your heart, tells me you are a true salesman and your training has spilled over to your team.

Fish Furniture is the ONLY place you need to go. The quality furniture selection they have is amazing, and Roger Mucci is a SAINT! We had the most enjoyable, relaxing, experience ever. It was actually fun… Roger spent hours with us (and I mean hours) answering questions and helping us pick out “the right” pieces. But what makes Roger so great, is that he quietly listened to the wife and I disagree on pieces (you know what I mean), and then he would say “come with me, I think you’ll like this” ... and he was spot on correct. Additionally, we weren’t expecting to receive such great interior designing assistance when buying furniture, but Roger’s eye for matching furniture pieces and color selections with our homes carpeting and paint colors is impeccable. We bought a custom designable living room set that allows you to pick the seat depth, the back cushion design style, the height of the back cushions, the arm style, the leg style, etc... We added contrasting wall paintings, and bought the best looking, quality Amish built bedroom set I’ve ever seen. All with Roger’s “non-pushy” guidance and assistance. Can’t say enough about what a great shopping experience we had. No need to shop for furniture anywhere else than Fish Furniture and Roger Mucci!! They have something...

I have been a loyal customer of this store for years. I purchased my furniture here three years ago, and since then I’ve returned annually to buy one of their carpet remnants, which are typically priced at $99. The last two years I paid cash, and because the transactions weren’t written up, there is no official record of those purchases.

During my most recent visit, I found a remnant I was interested in, though it had more visible damage than others. I politely asked if a small discount could be offered. The manager came over, asked for my information, and looked up my purchase history. He immediately pointed out that I hadn’t made a purchase since 2022, dismissing the fact that I had bought rugs in cash without receipts. He then very bluntly told me that “nobody would ever discount the rugs” and emphasized that he was the general manager.

The interaction was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. As a repeat customer, I expected to be treated with respect, not talked down to. Based on that experience alone, I will no longer be spending another dollar in this store.

Funny the carpets there are the same ones as last time, guess they don't want...
