Riverside Park — Attraction in North Township

I like the trials for walking and bike riding but you need to replace the wood chips from the playground area with padding so its not wet and doesn't carry bugs I'm sure it will be nicer and safe for the children.And 1 thing that really bothered me is that field grass so high and not safe for children to want to wander into the playground should have a fence around it so no one can wonder off and so that no one could just hide in that field and take a child.I hope you will invest in more safety at this park.It is not a safe world for anyone today and its really just creepy someone could be...

The park it self was not cut and weeds everywhere. The baseball field BUILT by Dave Ciakowski is a total disgrace! This man did a ton for the baseball family of Hammond and other towns around. Gave them a very nice field and safe place to play. Exposure for players to get a scholarship or a place to play and get an education!
