Taco Bell — Restaurant in North Township

I want to come on here and preface that I never write reviews or even try to talk bad about places. Today though is one of those days where Taco Bell has got me mad because I ordered food and it was not at all what I expected. I put in a DoorDash order for the Taco Bell in Munster, Indiana because that is the closest one to me. I order a Doritos locos tacos combo. Mind you Doritos loco tacos is supposed to be the tacos with the Doritos shell. I order that combo with pop nacho fries with cheese and just meat and cheese on all three of my tacos. I get my order first off none of my tacos are Dorito shelled at all. They are white shelled which I did not pay for. Again they are very cold and felt like no one cared to give me anything that I actually ordered. I go see the nacho fries. They are so cold that the fries are all sticking together in the box and they are cold. Also the meat in the dang tacos were cold also I couldn’t even get to the third one because it was already cold. I go see the cheese that comes with the fries and it is also so cold to the point I put it upside down and it won’t even move or try to drip at all. I am very disappointed. I always come to this Munster location in person and they never give me anything that issue with ordering at all. They always give me what I need in person and it’s fine. The first time I order from them for them to deliver my food, my food is cold and not even how I ordered it or what I wanted. I ordered dorito taco shells because I wanted that I didn’t want white shell tacos. I hope that this Taco Bell gives me a refund on this order because I do not know what was happening with this location but that is not right at all. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt but then I seen they close at 3 am and I ordered it at 10 pm. So I am very disappointed in this location. i came here in july and had an awful experience, i forgot about it for a little while until one of my friends mentioned going to taco bell. here is the story:

my friend and i came in and i ordered a single CHEESE quesadilla (with the sauce of course). JUST CHEESE AND SAUCE. (i'm a strict vegetarian because of some digestive health issues i have, but i am not vegan, therefore i still eat dairy, just no meat.) and a frozen baja blast. my friend ordered a taco or something and also a frozen baja blast. the one employee working told us that the machine for the frozen baja blasts was broken but was being fixed (we saw a guy working on it) and that he would bring us them when it was working again. we got our receipt that read "cheese quesadilla" and the other order items. we also had paid for the drinks. we were waiting for our food and another woman came in and got her food within 5 minutes while we sat waiting. finally our names were called. i took a bite of my quesadilla and it was fine. i took another and found something chewy but swallowed, thinking it was cheese. the third bite it was worse and it felt gross. i opened up the tortillas to find CHICKEN. MY QUESADILLA WAS FULL OF CHICKEN. it wouldn't be a big deal to most people, but i do not eat chicken. i got nauseas and returned it for the right order. i inquired about our drinks but they were "not ready yet". meanwhile, my friend is eating a spicy taco with no beverage even though we paid for it. we saw some lady come in and get one, too!!! finally when we were leaving about 30 minutes later after finishing our food and talking, we asked about our baja blasts again. the response: "oh, sorry i forgot about you guys." THERE IS NO WAY. I RETURNED MY FOOD DIRECTLY TO YOU AND WE ASKED ABOUT OUR DRINKS THEN AS WELL. ANOTHER LADY CAME IN AND GOT ONE, WHILE WE WERE WAITING FOR OURS. not a good experience, order was messed up, didn't get our drinks until we left despite other customers...

Overall our experiences with this Taco Bell have been split between negative and positive, but now it will be a while before I return. 2 days ago I ate one of those burritos with beans and rice (I always sub refried beans for black beans), and halfway through the burrito my lips became very tingly. The food was not especially spicy, I have eaten like a hundred of the same kind of burrito before, and I have no food allergies. I gave the rest of my food to my husband because I was pretty sure I was just having a minor allergic reaction to something in it (the same thing happens to me with certain chapsticks). My lips have been raw, scabby, and peeling ever since, and I can’t believe that days after eating half a burrito I still can’t open my mouth all the way without bleeding. I really don’t know what could have caused this, but I assume that it must be due to a contaminant because I have never had this reaction to food before and I have lots of experience with the exact kind of food I ate.

Also, only a couple days prior to this incident, my husband became very ill at work after eating spicy potato tacos from the same location.
