Review of Target: Unjust Treatment and Discrimination

I recently had a troubling experience at my local Target store that I feel compelled to share. During my visit, I was accompanied by my service dog, who is trained to assist me with my disabilities. Unfortunately, instead of receiving the support we expect in public spaces, I was treated with disrespect and had the police called on me.

This action not only made me feel unwelcome, but it also raised serious concerns about my rights as a person with a disability. I understand that businesses want to maintain a safe environment, but it is against the law to deny access to individuals with service animals. I believe this behavior reflects a lack of training and understanding of the law regarding service dogs.

To make matters worse, I was issued a trespassing order, which added insult to injury. Such a drastic measure over a situation that could have been handled with knowledge and empathy is both disappointing and disheartening.

As a loyal customer in the past, this experience has led me to reconsider my future patronage. It's crucial for businesses like Target to ensure that all employees are trained to understand and respect the rights of individuals with disabilities and their service animals.

I hope Target takes this feedback seriously to prevent similar situations in the future.

I recently used this Target location in Munster because they had great availability for all the items I tried to purchase. I received a text and email confirmation from their third party delivery service saying my package was on the way. About an hour later, I was told my order was cancelled because my items were unavailable. I was upset but understood. The issue occurred when I still had a larger order still processing after waiting for the appropriate business days. No one will answer the customer services line or order pick up, and the third party services stated it was the store responsibility to handle the cancelled purchase. The whole reason of using Targets online services because is was beneficial and convenient. I cancelled my circle 260 membership before because of their communication issues. I am still waiting for the refund for my first purchase! I'm starting to hate all big corporations, so inconsiderate!!! Wish I could...
