Which brings me to free piece of sales consultation advice #2) Partition your admin space and client-facing sales space.
The owner and employee were talking amongst each other on the sales floor, behind the glass display case, about the fact that they might or might not be able to find someone to fill in a couple days a week for their schedules. As I was looking, I overheard this and, making conversation, asked when they would need someone for two days a week, to which he replied, "Well, actually, this is a private business conversation." Hint: if your clientele can hear you, it is not a private business conversation.
Now, you have potentially admonished a client who you know has disposable enough income to buy several hundred dollar cardboard rectangles from you, just because he was curious about the conversation you were having right in front of his face. This is an extremely rude way to interact in a client-facing role, and definitely didn't make me want to stick around any longer than was necessary.
Other than that it's fine, prices are fair I guess, if you feel like sifting through binders of cards to not find whatever it is you might be...

Made a reservation for an event over the phone and the employee made a mistake and wrote me down for the wrong day. Mistakes happen and I understand that, but I was really impressed of the owner’s problem solving and fixing the problem.
The store is quite spacious with a playing area on one side and a store front as you walk in. The store front was clean and well organized. Their playing area was clean and well organized as well. I enjoyed the set up of their tables and chairs, as it made it easy to walk around
They do an amazing job at updating their events in their website and FB page. Their events seem really fun and they have event for most of the popular games ( magic, Lorcana, Star Wars, etc..) their events descriptions are well written and detailed.
My friends and I enjoyed our first visit at the shop. Will be back...
