I attended a live performance by Rickie Joe Wilson at the Park Theatre and aside from a fantastic performance by Rick and the band, the theatre itself is very remarkable. It has been beautifully restored to pristine condition and the city of North Vernon is certainly proud of this fine venue.

We visit here often for plays or movies. It's so reasonable priced even with their concessions. It's a clean facility and is historical. Love their picture at the top of the stairs. Ask them about it sometime.

The best entertainment around, and friendliest staff (all volunteers) around!!! We love going to the Park Theater Civic Center!!! Keep up the great work, and if you've not been here yet. You have to check it out you won't be disappointed!!!

Watched the movie Twisters here today, and as ALWAYS it was great!!! We really love this Theater!!! Best sound system, and Everyone is just so friendly & Amazing. Thank you again for an absolute wonderful...

The Park Theatre Civic Center is a restored theater. Originally called Jennings Theater, it was finished in 1916 and began supplying the community with vaudeville acts and silent movies. Today it has a regular movie service (one screen), local theater company productions, and also hosts community events and a variety of concerts as well. It is a non-profit with a controlling board of directors and volunteers work concessions...

Sure hope to visit again soon had a really good time. First place that I've ever been to where you can actually set and listen to music and don't have someone standing in front of you dancing. Not that I didn't want to dance lil bit cause there was times I would of like to have got up and danced but didn't want be rude to the ppl behind me. Great place...
