This place is a gem. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, classy but casual. The waitstaff is always friendly, their fast service and smiles alone is a reason to come in time and time again. The food is phenomenal. My husband and I come in a lot of the time after working and get breakfast. Bacon is perfect, pancakes are fluffy, the biscuits and gravy taste like they’re straight from my nana’s kitchen. I ordered a slice of lemon pie, and it was the absolute best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t stopped here, make the trip!

I had a wonderful meal at this quaint little restaurant in the heart of downtown. It's located in what appears to be a historic building. The servers were delightful as was the food. I had the evening's special, a bacon wrapped pork tenderloin with apples. I followed up this entree with a slice of their homemade chocolate pie. If ever in the area, I really recommend this establishment!

Holy cow this place is where it's at! Loaded down with some delicious homemade food and it was so cheap vs fast food. I highly recommend eating here, the service is great, the food was beyond what I expected, this place is great! And the history in this building is awesome to check out. Come get some!

The dinning was very exquisite with the best of food cooked so good as to make you want to come back again and again.The surroundings were both enthralling and at the same time not overwhelming and the service was more than a 5 star top rating . Having travelled some what extensively, throughout both the U.S from New York to the San Franciso Bay area , and Southeast Asia form South Western Australia to the fabled Japans and having spent several years in Hawaii , I can only say that I will definitely be back for both supreme service and delightfully delicious food and atmosphere. Went for carry out while we were visiting family who live outside of North Vernon. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely stunning, it reminds me of a high end English Inn. The ladies who were running the front of the restaurant were incredibly friendly. Right away I felt like I was being welcomed into someone’s home. They were bagging my order, it was 4 dinners and some side dishes, and ask me if I needed anything from plastic ware to condiments. I talked for a few minutes with with the staff about the restaurant you could tell they had pride in the restaurant itself and spoke very highly of the food and the chefs. I can’t wait to get back up there, Brick Street will be one of the first...

I wanted to give a 5, but sometimes you have to be truthful so an establishment will learn. Everything seemed wonderful in this place but the reason why i gave 4 in Service coz they almost forgot us. They waited 2 tables that arrived after us. Understandably they are busy but i guess missing a party of 4 and serving another table (party of 3) and one table a man by himself is something illogical.

Anyways, we highly recommend the following: Meatloaf Burger Tenderloin Potatoes Pies

Yes, we are planning to go back to this place and try the Manhattan and prolly the fried and grilled chicken.

Price is very reasonable!
