Segoku Hibachi and Sushi Express — Restaurant in North Vernon

I called to place a to-go order (under $13 worth). I was told it would be 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes after I placed the order and was promptly asked what I was there for. I informed the nice lady that I was waiting for an order. She proceeded to go to the kitchen and continue to take calls for the restaurant and service other customers. I waited another 20 minutes, watching other customers receive their to-go orders when the same nice lady asked me again, what I needed. I explained I was waiting on an order. She then asked me my name and exclaimed the order was there the entire time. I noticed calls for forgotten items, so they may have been too busy to keep up at the time. The food was great, chilled, but great after heated up! It may have been my fault for not speaking up! I had figured they had lots of orders or...

The food tastes good, different than some described. It's flavorful and cooked very well. The veggies are yummy and have a flavorful hibachi flavor with the soft crunch you'd expect from a perfectly grilled vegetable. The meat is tender, and delicious. The rice is moist and savory. The yum yum sauce is NOT watered down like another comment said, this I the perfect consistency and flavor for hibachi. The seaweed salad is yummy too.

The only thing I really have to complain about is the amount of meat that comes with it is a bit sparse compared to other places I've been but over all the experience I've had is very positive.

Sogoku Habachi is the best sushi restaurant in Jennings County. I’ve worked for a sushi restaurant in Indianapolis, and love sushi of all grades and kinds. You won’t be disappointed. While their menu may not be as extensive as other restaurants, they make up for it by serving all of everyone’s favorite styles of Sushi, and making it extremely well.
