I’ve been to plenty of jewelry shops in my time, but nothing and I mean absolutely nothing could have prepared me for the experience I had here. From the second I walked through the doors, it was like stepping into a little slice of sparkle heaven. The place itself is stunning every corner thoughtfully designed, every detail gleaming like it’s auditioning for a magazine spread. I knew the team was busy they had that graceful hustle you only see in professionals who actually care, but no one made me feel like a bother. Instead, I got to wander like a kid in a candy store except the candy was gold, diamonds, and tastefully curated vibes.
Then came the real gem of the shop: Garland Day. I didn’t just meet the owner I met a force of nature in human form. She’s honest without flinching, transparent in a way that’s rare these days, and radiates the kind of genuine warmth that makes you feel like you’ve known her for years even if you just met five seconds ago. You know those people who are so kind, you wonder if they’re secretly related to Mr. Rogers? Yeah, she’s one of those. The entire shop reflects her energy thoughtful, detailed, and absolutely full of soul.
And just when I thought I’d reached peak admiration, I found out she’s also raising money to support the amazing young men who work with her. You can tell they aren’t just employees to her they’re people she believes in. She’s the kind of woman who lifts others as she climbs, and does it without ever needing a spotlight. That’s the kind of leadership that can’t be taught it’s just who she is.
Garland’s the kind of person who could flip a coin to close a deal, lose it, laugh louder than anyone, and still make you feel like you got the better end of the bargain. She brings light, laughter, and love into every interaction and somehow makes the whole experience feel like catching up with family you actually want to be around.
So if you’re after more than just a fair deal if you want to walk into a place and leave with not only a beautiful piece of jewelry but a full heart and a smile that lasts the rest of the day this is where you go. Trust me, your future self will thank you. I recommend this place with my whole heart, and maybe even...
Read moreThe store seemed pretty nice with the number of different items. We stopped by today for the first time. Sadly, customer service is just horrible. We didn't get a "hello", "welcome", "do you need any help"?, none of the very normal greetings. You can tell the lady (owner??) was not happy to see us in her store. She was very, very friendly with all of the older white and European ladies in the store, but we obviously didn't look like the ideal customer. We were looking to buy a gold ring, so we spent our time looking at the jewelry cabinets. In the 15 minutes we were there she passed us several times and she saw us, I mean we looked straight at each other, but not one "may I help you", not even an "excuse me" as she passed by and the aisles are really tight. You bump into everyone as you through the store. Will never go there again. My only advice about this store is that if you're not white, European, or don't look like you drive an expensive car and live in the area, you may be in for a very uncomfortable experience. She let's you know you're not welcome. So sad, yeah, maybe I wasn't going to spend a thousand dollars for a couple of old paintings like one of the ladies did, but as sweet as we are and excited as we were about finally checking the store out, I as the owner would've been more than happy to interact with us. We enjoy trift stores and antique shops so much. The one silver lining, the young man working there. He saw that we looked out of place or that we were feeling uncomfortable. He said hello after a while when we kind of bumped into each other and made sure to say goodbye as we walked out while he was taking care of another customer. Unfortunately, I'm definitely scratching this one off...
Read moreI went into the antique shop as a first time customer looking for Tiffany and Co jewelry. Some items I found were not at all authentic Tiffany and Co.They were cheap imitations. Anyone looking for similar jewelry can look on the RealReal website, FB Marketplace, or Poshmark for better deals. I believe that the store is overcrowded with merchandise and way too overpriced!
In terms of the store management, I noticed there was a clear lack of respect for customers as the owner yelled and screamed at my family and one of their employees in from of other customers. I accidentally pointed toward an item I was interested in and she assumed I was going to steal something. In my opinion, the owner seems to be somewhat racist towards people of color like myself. I felt very unwelcome and disrespected at all times. Other customers felt the same and immediately left without purchasing anything. I wouldn't recommend visiting or selling...
