Jackman Park — Attraction in Northfield Township

Big park with lots to do! Free parking in lot on weekends (resident only parking on weekdays). You can also park at the library - which is so great to have next door if you need to use the restroom. Mix of mulch and padded ground. Great theming - perfect for dramatic play. My kids love working at the little Apple stand! Mostly fenced in with two openings on either side. Playground is for toddlers to elementary-age kids. It has all the things they’ll ever want, from physical activity to pretend play. It is well maintained and has all the benches where parents can sit and watch their kids. Nice pocket park, but no where to easily take little kids to the restroom, especially if the library is closed. The library closed at 5pm on Sunday (including the Metra station across the street) and we had to wander around until we found a nearby dunkin donuts that allowed us to use theirs.
