I wish I could give this place 6 stars. I've given this place a 5-star review before, but I will continue to do so just so that they stay open forever. I don't stop in as often as I used to since moving to the city, but even after a very long gap, the owner's son immediately recognized me and gave me a warm greeting as soon as I walked in today. He then brought a big tub of treasures from the back (things he knew I would like) so that I could rummage through. He gets me : ) The staff is knowledgeable, honest, incredibly friendly and warm. The prices are fair, and he always gives me a great price without my having to ask. I love stopping in whenever I'm in the area. It's always such a pleasant visit and pleasant experience. I hope they stick around for a very long time! Definitely a treasure...

I've been a customer for years. This is a great family business with lots to look at, and I love coming here to treasure hunt. Every single time I walk in, the owner's son recognizes me, remembers what I like, goes to the back and then comes out with a variety of items for me to look at...without my having to say anything else after the initial "hello." He just knows (fyi, I love Tiffany & Co. and David Yurman). They never hover over me while I shop, never pressure me, and they are super helpful and friendly. Buried treasure is here and the only map you need to find it is Google Maps and a GPS that will take you to Glenview. This place, however, is not just about finding and buying, it's about paying you the fairest price possible for your own treasures -- silver coins you have stuffed in a bag, diamonds that have lost their gleam in your eye and arrh maties, those gold doubloons in that attic.
