I heard it was dog friendly and thought it was nice that an indoor mall was dog friendly so I wanted to come check it out. I was approached shortly after I entered by what seemed to be a public safety officer for the mall to tell me to take my hood off that I had halfway up because it is 20 degrees outside and snowing. I asked him if there is a dress code in the mall code of conduct and he immediately just held up a walkie talkie to my face and another hidden person who didnāt come out told me they need to see my face and I canāt wear hoods. I then looked up the code of conduct and let them know itās not a mall policy given I understand itās private property. They then just told me to go away and take it up with mall management. It seems like itās always people in positions of power to abuse that power likely because they have none in their personal lives. I went to the management office and have sent multiple emails to management over the past couple weeks with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis mall is about 50% or more empty. The H&M is gone, forever21 is now gone due to bankruptcy, only ONE escalator worked, the other 2 or 3 were not operating and blocked with yellow barrier so you couldnāt even walk up like you could when theyāre just off. I was on the 2nd level, directly above Aunt Annieās, I had to walk to the middle of the mall to take the only working escalator down, then walk that same length on the first floor to get to Aunt Annie, then walk to the middle of the mall again to take that escalator (close to the elevator) back up, then walk that length back to where I was. I can tell this entire mall will be closing soon. I was there on a Saturday and there was hardly any people there. The Sephora was empty, which is the complete opposite of the old orchard Sephora. This mall felt like a ghost town. There is a Louis Vuitton here & a Neiman Marcus but thatās it for high end stores. There is also a movie theatre...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWanted to buy some gifts for some colleagues close to where I work and Google took me Northbrook court for a Swarovski place that did not exist there anymore. Walking up and down the mall looking for a shop, found very few shops that could qualify.
There is no building directory to help the unwary customer and most shops are totally empty. The security guard radioed to inquire about the Crystal store. He said the store moved to a different place. But he was not aware of the directory where i could see the shops at the mall.
The smaller "shopping cart" based businesses were not interested in entertaining the customer. One shop selling the nesting dolls did not even try to market her wares as a alternative to the Kimmidolls that I was originally looking for. The others were unmanned or deserted.
The toilet stall does not have a hook to hang the coat/jacket so i had to leave them...
