i would honestly give this zero stars if i could. the one star is purely for the benefit of writing this review. i have never in my life, gone to a movie theatre with worse management and attitude issues as this one. we had bought tickets off of your website as well as food which was more than $100, trying to be smart and plan ahead.
upon purchasing these tickets at home we noticed that we had never gotten the confirmation email as well as it being charged twice, totaling to a whopping $300. we had called the location explaining our situation and we were met with a very friendly individual who had simply said to come to guest services and everything would be sorted out.
we get there, and the guy who we had talked to and had told us to ask for once we arrived was no where in sight. instead we got a so called “manager” with a very noticeable and unpleasant “i hate my job, so i take it out on the customer” attitude. we explained to him over and over again our problem and after about 20 minutes of a half-a** conversation repeatedly asking what we’re supposed to do, he responds with “i don’t know what to tell you, but you can rebuy your tickets and your food” on top of the $300 we had already been charged.
all in all, whoever this “manager” was needs to be removed from his post as my friends and i left the theatre not only embarrassed because the line was being held up, but also infuriated as we had a large sum of money missing from my bank account with no solution whatsoever. he had black curly hair, was wearing a mask and just genuinely seemed like he didn’t want to be there nor help any guest for that matter.

We picked coming to this specific location because of the website selling me on being able to do essentially the same things as going to IPic or a Star Cinema Grille. That information in mind, the website wasn't forthcoming with the full truth. You don't get served seat-side, you place your order at the bar and then they will bring everything out to you; which doesn't make a lot of sense, but okay. I could live with that. However, it is a detraction when most of your items are out of stock, and being that I spent most of the previews trying to figure out how to order (again, expecting being able to at the seat as the website implies) by the time I was able to flag down the one gal who was working there, the movie was about to start. Again, okay, fine. I could live with these lessons for next time - I thought... Until it started to become really clear how badly the theater was dirty. The seats were sticky, nothing felt like it had been cleaned in years, and everything was really off the more I paid attention to my surroundings. To add another point to this, after the movie, I had to make a quick stop at the restroom, and - well - I had to assemble my own lock on the bathroom stall; there were also flies covering the sink in the handicap accessible stall. I will not be back to this theater, and I can't see myself ever recommending this theater to anyone. If it wasn't for really wanting to see the movie, and every other comparable theater being completely sold out; I would've walked out. Read moreFirst time at this theater, and my experience here was not good. Move along people, there are tons of other theaters that are way better.
We (like most movie goers) purchased our tickets ahead of time in the app. get to the movie theater, park (the mall is a mess, but more on that later.) Go in, and then HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE while 4 people purchase their tickets and pick out their seats in person. Usually there is a fast pass, so that people who buy tickets ahead of time can skip the line. NOPE, not here. That $6 in fees you pay, you get to continue to stand in line.
We go and order popcorn, a drink and 2 kids meals. Popcorn is given immediately, the kids meals are considered "dine in" Cool! Bring me my food! Except, I was told it was going to take an hour and a half to get my kids meals. WHAT?!? So I have now waited 20 min to get in to see a 90 min movie and the food is going to take another NINETY MINUTES to come to me. And they tell me AFTER I spend $45 on the food. (apparently even though there were 5 people behind the counter and a one sitting on her phone, only 1 person could cook.)
I ask for a refund, manager comes, gives me refund. Still hasn't come through. We shall see if I ever see that money.
I try to contact AMC to get my refund, to make sure I get some of this money back. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT A HUMAN. Its just an online form.
The mall is under construction, its run down and quite frankly, a little sketchy. In the actual mall, barely anything is open.
I would seriously pass on this theater and mall in general. The fancy seats and "dine in" option are not worth. Go to Marcus, they seem to care a lot more about their customers and customer...
