I went in to Staples this morning with my baby to return some amazon packages. I walked over to the costumer service desk. Renee, the sales manager, was there checking a customer out. I was waiting at the customer service desk to be attended. Then two more customers got in line to check out. I wasnât in a rush, so I didnât mind if she attended the other customers first. When Renee had finished with all the remaining customers, she made eye contact with me and walked away. She made no effort to approach me or help me. She did not bother to tell me if someone else would be coming or anything. The way she looked at me, I truly felt discriminated against. I was the only Latina there waiting at the time. She chose to be rude and walk away as if I wasnât there with my baby waiting. After about 5 more minutes of waiting, a different employee came and assisted me.    Read moreI've used this Staples for 6yrs, so by now I've amassed enough experiences here to tell you truly that it is a nightmare. I dread every visit. I have never gotten out of here in less than 20min because of the absurdly complicated check out process. Do you have a rewards card? Coupons? Tax exempt? Are you turning in empty ink cartridges? Did you think the card swiper would actually read your card? Did you think that when it didn't the store employee would know what to do? There are always plenty of employees milling around, but none of them is empowered to help w/ anything beyond the most basic tasks w/o calling a manager for help. Stream line your process Staples.    Read moreThe store has always been helpful. I shop there weekly. But recently purchased 2 file cabinets with the âStaplesâ name. I purchased them 1 month ago. 1 is great and the other has a drawer that keeps falling off the track and it is hard to fix. I called today and spoke to Samantha, store mgr, and she told me without the box they canât take it back! Who would keep the box? Also there return policy is 14 days. I donât want to return it, itâs not my fault their product doesnât work corretly. Why should I buy new after 1 month of owning it? I will never shop at staples again. Too bad they are so convenient!
