Tried the basil chicken lunch special. On the way to the car, I thought the takeout bag felt suspiciously light, and realized that it would be even lighter once I removed the 12 oz can of soda that was included. Opened the container to find that my entree was mostly white rice, with a scant scoop of chicken in the corner. I usually have more leftovers from lunch than the amount of food in this container. I took it back and politely asked it was supposed to look like it did. I was told yes. I pointed out that it was mostly white rice, and barely any chicken, and was then told that it's because it's the lunch portion. "But it's 9 and a half dollars!". The staff member took a second look at the lunch with greater understanding, and then said, "Oh, sorry, I'll tell them". I'm not sure if "them" is the kitchen staff or management, but she didn't make a move to go tell anyone, and that was the extent of conversation. No offer to remedy with a more substantial portion, a different option, or a refund. I left with my skimpy lunch and dissatisfaction. Since I'm not one to eat a mound of naked white rice, my lunch was exactly 4 bites, plus a small spring roll, which was dripping with grease. FYI, I measured the contents before eating, and my main entree was just over 1/3 cup. For $9.33. I have pictures, but I don't want to shame anyone, and since it's hard to judge scale in photos, it's actually better if you go to your cupboard, pull out a 1/3 cup measuring cup, and imagine your $9.33 lunch fitting...
Read moreI have ordered here regularly for a few years. Recently, there has been a notable decline in the quality and service. This last order, we ordered the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) Gluten free. This dish is typically made with wide Rice noodles and made gluten free. However, when picking up, we were told they did not use the wide rice noodles and used egg noodles. Which was odd, considering that is not how the dish is typically made and not gluten free. We ended up having to wait for them to make it with rice noodles and instead ended up with thin rice noodles, which is a totally different dish. They claimed that they do not make wide rice noodles, yet i have ordered dishes with them from here before and the menu still has wide rice noodles on it throughout. The cashier did not seem informed or willing to communicate with the chef or offer any compensations for the inconvenience. This was one of a few places I trusted when ordering GF, especially considering many Thai dishes are easily made GF, but they seem to be going through some changes and lately the service has been short, rude, and unhelpful so I can't recommend them...
Read moreGreat local spot with authentic flavors, great lunch special (Fyi some main portions might be slightly smaller for lunch), hearty dinner portions. Small drink selections and no option for fresh juice or milk for children. Service is good but expect to ask for extra items like napkins, chopsticks or a refill. Small dining area but very delicious food. We love the spring rolls, potstickers, the orange/red curry, pad see weu, pad thai, crab Rangoon, chicken and beef skewers, sticky rice with mango, ginger chicken, shrimp tempura, all their soups too. There hasn't been anything I tried that I didn't like. They do alot of carry out so dining in the restaurant is a relaxing treat. Cute bathrooms that are clean and warm in the back as yoy go down a long hallway. Definitely check this spot out for some authentic Thai food. There is a big parking lot across that shares with other businesses in the strip mall but never had an issue with parking even during...
