First Kentuck Art Festival.amaxing talent both local and national. It was fun. October Fest bratwurst was horrible. But I was hungry and needed to eat. Poppin Sisters had it going on with there popcorn snacks. I was able to meet Betty Anderson from Wilcox County. She thrives and is a 911 survivor and creates beautiful works of art. I'm so blessed by God to have been at festival and to meet Betty. Thanks for the police and volunteers . It took alot to make this happen . Thank you Kentuck Art

Northport is a little hidden (somewhat) gem next to its bigger sister, Tuscaloosa, and in that hidden gem in the delightful old part of Northport, Kentuck is a real treasure. We spent a delightful hour or so looking at the wonderful craft work and art work the shop offers for sale, and talking to the interesting man staffing the shop on the day we visited. Stop in when the shop-gallery is open and you won't be disappointed.

The Kentuck Art Festival is ALWAYS AWESOME!

Came home today with an INCREDIBLE piece by Michael Cole of Hannibal, Mo; 3 photo prints Clark Crenshaw, several pieces of Jewelry, iron art, and tons of crafts by my son - including the prized Kentuck Tie-Dye t-shirt (I swear - they never fade!)

The only dark spot on a shining event was a run-in with Victor Edwards of Oak and Rope Creations. He is truly a bummer to kids!

Every bit of his booth calls for families to come and check out his rope chairs, every bit except for the man himself and the signs that he hangs in his booth that says "Adults Only".

Let's see Victor, you make Sky Chairs that are similar to those that people can buy from their local Target. Your chairs are just like swings - and yet you don't want kids near them??

Great idea to show at a festival that actually caters to kids & families by having 2 "parks", kids' food, snacks, and a kids art area with tons of activities for kids by telling parents they can't have their children come into a booth.

Hmmmm.... lets see... OK I will go into your booth alone and let my son go play with the Sloss Furnace Folks (who were awesome!!) and maybe he can help them pour the some of that molten iron into molds while I sit in one of your tacky macramé swings. Jerk!

Next time take your tack back to some Florida trailer park where the geriatric will love them to hang some...

What a wonderful festival. So many vendors and demonstrations. The parking was nicely laid out, the price was reasonable, the vendors were so kind and the art work was incredible. Such a wide variety. My children loved the children’s area. They children’s area offered marble painting, clay, tie dye, face painting, a play ground and a wonderful musical instrument section. This was our first time attended but we most definitely will return in...
