Located at the hotel Indigo by the riverfront . We came here to dine In . This hotel btw looks really cool too. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the rooftop seating with fire pit .Although a little too cold for me, we decided to dine inside. Blankets are available if you want to remain outside and enjoy the view. Inside there is a bar and very limited seating. The menu is small, the drink menu is not. There is a sign at the bar indicating that all drinks contain 1 1/4 oz of alcohol and if you want more or less you need to let the bar tender know. I ordered the chicken strips and fries, husband ordered the crawfish pasta and our co worker ordered the flat ironed steak and potatoes. Both my husband and I thought that the portions were on the small side. The steak was ordered medium rare and that is exactly how it arrived. Pasta was delicious, fries perfect and chicken done well. We cleaned our plates. Gin and tonic ($10) was weak . Our fault we didn’t see the sign until later.

Service was friendly but pretty slow. Menu was VERY limited. Crab bites were good but my chicken skewers were almost insulting. Dry, bland chicken on skewers with teriyaki sauce slopped on like a kids meal. Pretty disappointed for what I paid.

I enjoyed my birthday at The Lookout. The drinks, food, and atmosphere was ideal for a night out on the river in Tuscaloosa. I always enjoy my visit and the friendly service.

My boyfriend and I went to The Lookout to celebrate his acceptance to law school. On a night that was supposed to be celebratory, our experience here left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. They did not give my boyfriend the beer he ordered, instead giving him another from the same brewery without telling him. When he went up to the bar to ask about it, he was told “this is the one we have.” They gave me an incorrect cocktail and took 30 minutes to make the correct one. Waters were requested twice but never delivered. Our food arrived over an hour and a half after we ordered, with my order incorrect. When they corrected my order, the food was cold and bland. Out of the 4 menu items we ordered, 3 were incorrect. I am very disappointed. We will not be returning, and I do not recommend...

The food was fantastic! I got the chicken Alabama and it was absolutely perfect. The chicken was juice, warm, and the skin was perfectly crisp. I also got a farmers market lemonade on the house because it was my 21st birthday, which was really nice. However, the appetizer did not come out until the dinner came out. The place is definitely all about the ambiance, as it takes a while for food to come out. There seemed to also be only four people on staff for a resturaunt with 77 people capacity, which seems odd. There was one waitress, one hostess, one bartender and one cook, which is definitely not enough people. I did really enjoy the waitress as she was kind and humorous. I would say out of the four of us, two of us had a really good time, and two of us had...
