One bad thing after another. First bad thing, I checked into my room after a loooong day of flights, and I get a call from front desk after I’ve left back out and grabbed breakfast asking for my discount sheet which should’ve been asked for upon check in, but wasn’t. I had to stop doing what I was doing to acquire this sheet because (according to management), if by 12 I didn’t have it, I would be charged regular rate for my room. So then the next thing, I went to take a shower, and realized my the shower had leaked all over the floor from somewhere but the door was closed, and the toilet didn’t flush, so I got moved to another room. When I checked out the next day, I discovered the hotel attendant (maybe from the night before, I’m not sure) charged my room for two drinks that I didn’t get. Management is making this quite difficult to get my money back and having their attendants tell me “I don’t know what to tell you.” Like I will never understand why management won’t hire more compassionate employees. Then the attendant gets an attitude with me and tells me to leave a voicemail on the general manager’s voicemail. Like why if there’s a manager of some sort that’s currently present, why can’t they help with the reimbursement of my funds?? But I left a voicemail only to still not have a call back. Drinks were $3.30 with tax and I was charged for two of them and didn’t even get a drink!!! This is highly unacceptable and I’m probably going to reach out to the better...
Read moreI am so picky when it comes to cleanliness. This hotel checked off all the boxes. We were greeted so warmly when checking in, they must have thought we were a VIP. Upon entering, the cleanest smell was evident. I looked around and even corners were clean, everything was gleaming. There was some water infused with cucumbers and strawberries in lobby, so good! Check in was a breeze. The elevator was clean, that is an area often overlooked in hotels. The room was so clean, in my 70 years it was the cleanest hotel room I have ever been in. It had a frig, microwave and coffeemaker, more than enough charging ports and electrical outlets that were easily accessible. A very nice full size mirror that had a built in motion detector night light. The bathroom shower was clean and so user friendly, you could adjust the water to your liking (without doing acrobatics) before entering. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body gel. The bed was so comfortable! Sandra was at the desk and she was welcoming, kind and professional. I got to meet the head of housekeeping, Maria, she makes sure all is done to perfection. Please Marriott, do what you can to keep these ladies on your team, they make a difference and it does not go unnoticed. Every hotel should be this nice, clean...
Read moreThis hotel far exceeded my expectations. I slept so comfortably the first night, when I woke up, I didn’t remember where I was; but I also I didn’t remember WHO I was! The room was spotless and delightfully beautiful. There were a hundred tiny conveniences, thoughtful little details, that added together to equal luxury. For example, there was a recess in the far end of the shower wall to store the bathmat, where it stayed nice and dry and didn’t have to lie sprawled messily all over the floor between uses. A reading light glowed down onto the bed, above the headboard, and had an on/off button within easy reach from either side. The climate control was on point. A comfy ottoman stood in front of the sofa, to put your feet up while watching TV. So many nice touches! I stayed during graduation/move-out weekend for UA, the time when local hotels are the most crowded, and still my room was peacefully quiet. Every staff member I interacted with was pleasant and efficient. My whole stay was almost too...
