Dollar General — Attraction in Norton

Pretty sure the girls name is Holly, she’s probably in her 20’s or early 30’s. Incredibly rude. Has no customer service. The entire time she checks people out she’s either on her phone texting, on the phone while being on speaker talking, or she’s telling customers how much she hates her job & working with customers. She alone makes me not want to come back to this location and it’s worse everytime we go. I’ve tried giving her chances but she’s just not good with the public.

• Edit * y’all need to make it a rule you’re not allowed to use your phones at the register. There’s absolutely no reason that girl holly should be on her phone and more worried about that than DOING HER JOB?? I’m trying to check out and she’s more worried about her friends not texting her back and coughing on me because she has no customer service at all or any type of caution for her...

The service here is always fast. Usually every time I come here they have products out because they just got truck, or they are setting up end caps, Etc. and even though they are busting my butt trying to put things away, they still managed to come to the counter with in a timely manner and speedily check me out, well also still being able to maintain conversation :-) tip, I love coming here for the Loco Moco Java Monsters oh, they're cheaper than everywhere else LOL only place that I've seen it cheaper is Walmart, but sometimes I just don't have the gas to go all the way out there. But, for all intents and purposes the store is very well ran, very well-managed, has a very efficient staff, and they all seem to work very hard. 😃 If there was anything I could change about this place... When I arrived I wasn't even greeted, which is ok by me, but associate worker was just gabbing away to looked to be one of the delivery drivers, gave such a rude look to me the delivery man asked if she was ok? Then shopped around, whole time she was just gabbing away, went to check out, did I get assisted to check out you ask?? NO, she was outside smoking a cigarette still talking to the delivery man, I said have a nice day, and got no response back! This lady is just extremely rude, middle ages with dried out blonde hair!! Do better, treat others nice regardless how you feel, especially when working in a line of work...
