Kidsignments — Attraction in Norwich

For some reason it took me forever to find this place after moving to CT but I'm so glad I did! The staff is super friendly and always ready to help you find something and dig in with you as you shop. The shop itself is tiny and it'd be hard to fit a stroller through but there is a little corded off play area for kiddos while you browse - brilliant. There merchandise is in good condition and I've never come across anything that was threadbare or stained.

I have both consigned and shopped at Kidsignments and each has been easy. The owner is very sweet and communicates well throughout the consigning process so you know exact what you're getting into and what you'll ultimately be getting out of doing business here. You can either cash out when your account reaches a certain amount or use it as a credit toward your purchase when you shop. I've been pleased with the amount I've received as credit, in fact I never expected to make so much off of items I just don't need anymore.

The shop has great prices and nice things, which is great. I did not have as pleasant an interaction with the owner as others on here. Both times she was snippy and just short of rude. I probably won't be back.

EDIT seeing her reply here just reinforced my opinion. I went to a different kids consignment store in Groton today, and while they had many of the same policies they couldn't have been nicer in their dealings. I recommend you avoid Kidsignments. I worked in retail management for many years, she would have been better served to apologize rather than become defensive over honest feedback.

Kidsignments Boutique is a consignment shop selling gently used clothing. They have a wide range of sizes ranging from babies all the way to teenagers. A lot of the kids consignments shops have a lot of tacky clothes but whoever chooses the clothing here seems to know what's on trend and chooses clothing that is in great condition. I'm not sure how the consignment process works but I consign my children's clothes often so I plan on looking into their process soon. Norwich needed a place like this. It's a cute shop and the prices are fair. I can definitely see this place...
